What a lifesaver these inhalers are, I have a sinus problem where either my right or left side of my nose is always stuffed up. I grabbed one of these inhalers, take a few breaths through my clogged nose and it clears it up to where I can breathe comfortable through it again. My wife also used one when she started feeling that weird tingling in your nose when you start feeling sisk, and after using it throughout the day, that tingly feeling went away. I keep mine in my pocket all the time. It's nice and strong to and lasts a very long time.
This Equate menthol vapor inhaler is easy to use and packs a powerful amount of relief from nasal congestion. I really like the menthol smell and I’m breathing clearly soon after use. I get congested at night so I use it before bed to help me sleep well. It's a nice small size to keep on my nightstand. This 3 pack is perfect for families or for having an extra at work or for travel. It’s a must have for me.
Literally a life saver in the winter months. I am in the Midwest, the air is cold and dry, and my nose is stuffy. Here where Equate Vapor comes to the rescue. It's cooling and soothing, and has a nice menthol vapor. If I have a trouble breathing through my stuffy nose, this inhaler clears it pretty fast. Its compact size of only 2-1/2 inches long makes it portable and easy to carry, you can bring it anywhere. I highly recommend this inhaler to anyone.
Boy winter congestion is troublesome. I go to bed feeling fine and breathing fine. At some point in the night I get up. I am old, it is normal for a man my age. When I get back in bed my head stuffs up. What the heck is that? If I lay there and wait my sinuses will clear in 20 or 30 minutes but now I am fully awake and falling back to sleep is more difficult. So I keep one of these on my night stand. It doesn't immediately clear on the 1st sniff. I take a couple of sniffs and give it a couple of minutes to do it's thing and I go back to sleep. It just works.
I love these menthol breathers. Over the holidays we had one child show up sicker than a dog with an ugly head cold (covid negative). He promptly coughed on us all weekend and went home healthy and left the rest of us with his cold. The main reason I love these breathers is that after blowing your nose so much, it gets raw and sensitive. If I were to put regular Menthol gel on my nose to help it would just burn. These breathers don’t do that to a raw nose. I can use them anywhere, anytime, and because you get three individually wrapped sticks in a pack, there’s plenty to share. I just keep mine in my pocket and use it throughout the day. We are a family that does not use a lot of medicines unless absolutely necessary, so these menthol breathers really help a lot. I have an autistic child and they don’t mind using one. All you do is take the cap off and hold it near your nose and breath in the menthol vapors and it makes such a difference. The fact that it is just menthol and not all medicated and chemically, you can use it often throughout the day. I’m thinking these will be stocking stuffers next year. I highly recommend these.
Had to buy new ones of these, I use them all the time. These work just as good as the Vicks Vapor Inhaler.
I use these Menthol Vapor Inhalers for my stuffy nose when I have one. I keep them near my bed so I can use them at night or in the morning when I wake up. The ingredients are camphor, menthol, methyl salicylate, Siberian fir (babies sibirica)oil. And you can use as often as needed. This is just as good as the name brand but priced better.
I am definitely liking these travel size menthol vapor inhalers. I tend to get stuffy a lot during the winter months as well as during allergy season in the summer. It definitely provides some temporary relief and helps me breathe easier. I keep one in the car and one in my back pack and one in my desk at work. I like that it is non medicated and very easy to use on the go. It definitely helps in a pinch and by all means is not the ultimate cure for a stuffy nose but does provide temporary relief when your out and about and last long enough for you to get back home and become gross again.
I love equate products. Usually I love finding multi pack items, but I would suggest marking each inhaler tube if more than one person is using them at a time. You definitely would not want to accidentally use the same inhaler as someone else. The tube has a cover that is removed and the stick goes to each nostril. Everyone in our house has had a cold lately. I’m not a huge fan of nasal spray‘s, but I like the fact this is non-medicated and willing to give it a try. I only gave it four stars because I had a very difficult time trying to open the first tube. There weren’t any perforation marks which is probably not common, because the other two did have perforation marks for opening. This did not burn when I used it, nor did it cause me any issues. I did not feel dependent like I had to have it. This is a dry inhaler. You get a good whiff of the menthol scent, but no liquid goes in your nasal area. It reminded me of a vapo rub. I included a picture to show the active ingredients.
So the effects of using this menthol vapor inhaler is extremely temporary. By temporary, I mean that as soon as you stop smelling it, the effects are gone. It does not unstuff anything or help me breathe any easier. What it does for me is put menthol up my nose so that I am more aware of any air going in and out, if that makes sense, because your nose feels cooler or something. Also, you have to be careful not to get any menthol on your nose because it’s uncomfortable…like a burning sensation and a cooling sensation at the same time. After that happened, I found myself not really wanting to put it in my nose where it actually touches. So, having the menthol to breathe in is nice, but it doesn’t really do anything, from what I can tell.
