Equate "Original" Weight Loss Shake is the same exact thing as Original Slimfast, only it tastes better! Please note that I specified "original" because it does not contain artificial sweetener. The Ultra Slimfast and Ultra Equate both contain artificial sweeteners.
I am a very busy nanny for newborn twins, now 7 months old. I have been able to survive working days and nights due to my family providing this nutritional drink for me. I drink 3 of these each day and enjoy a meal if I have time, which is rare. I am healthy, happy, and require less sleep. Also the nutrition makes my hair grow longer when I am drinking 3 per day. I feel great and know it is because of these drinks. Also I have lost some weight during this time, which is great! :) The drinks are very satisfying for me. :) I hope they are always available here at Walmart!
I love this drink. With 2 grams of fat it is perfect. All the other weight loss shake have 5 grams or more of fat which can add up pretty fast. I like the fact that these shakes are very filling. This shake is perfect for weight loss. WE NEED MORE FLAVORS PLEASE!!!!!! Thank you.
I have been using this product for several years and it has helped me achieve my weight goal. I continue to use it to maintain my goal and just because it tastes GREAT. It has a much better flavor than either the Ultra version or Original Slim-Fast. I look forward to popping a can every morning. While the can says to serve very cold, I have had it at room temperature and it still tastes very good. If your in a hurry, its the fastest thing you can grab and still have a nutritious meal.
This item taste good. This is a good weight loss shake 170 cal (vanilla)and taste very good. I have tried vanilla, strawberry and chocolate, all are very good. This would be good for camping or a lunchbag - and it doesn't need refrigeration (you could pour the vanilla over cereal as a replacement for milk if camping) . My son hesitated to try it, once he did, now he drinks it all the time (doesn't taste like a weight loss product). I use this product to replace a meal and have been exercising (treadmill) more and the weight is coming off. This and a small banana -- is good if you are really hungry. The ingredient list says it has non-fat milk and it mentions it has 50% daily allowance for calcium.
I drink these because sometimes at work, I'm working so hard I forget to eat, or bring my lunch. I always keep a supply in the fridge in case I need a quick meal in a can. It taste like a rich chocolate milk, and it goes down so smooth. It also curbs my craving for chocolate, my craving for something to eat, and has nutritional value that I can use. I am diabetic, and need sugar, and when I don't eat, I get too low, and this is a great meal replacement. I'm overweight, so I'm sure it helps there too.
The product was shipped promptly;however, the outside packaging was a mess and 5 or 6 of the cans inside were bent. All of the boxes the equate shakes were in were torn. Some of the boxes were open and cans were out of their boxes. Since I haven't opened all of the torn cartons. there are probably more bent cans. Poor shipping job!
This drink is so good, and the price is so much lower than the name brand. I have bought several cases of this and will continue to do so. Love It !!!
This product is excellent. I started using Slim Fast, but I did not like the taste that much. Then I saw the Equate brand and saw the bargain price. Not only does it tastes better, but it actually fills me up. It has been a great companion for loosing weight (which I have lost 30 pounds in 6 months, with exercise) and I LOVE IT.
I don't understand how something so sugary tasting can help you lose weight. I think this would spike your blood sugar levels and send your body into fat storing mode. I did not like the shake when I first tasted it, but I wanted to finish off the box and now it is quite good. Not my permanent solution to losing fat tho
