Ranitidine is what doctors prescribe for nursing home patients. This is the OTC equivalent to the prescription strength. To equal the prescription strength you need to take two of these to equal 300 mg. Most insurance agencies will not pay for Over The Counter, OTC drugs. This works better for me than famotidine which is also prescribed for nursing home patients.
Works just as well as the name brand. We've used the Walmart brand for a few months now and are happy with the results.
This works as well as the name brand. I take nexium daily, and can take this ranitidine on top of that for the days that nexium alone isn't enough. And the generic for nexium doesnt work at all. Great product at a great price.
I've been using this for years, It works great. Occasionally you have to take two though
I use these quite often and they work just as well as any name brand.
Ranitidine is the generic for Zantac which was recalled due to possible contamination with a carcinogen. Although all were supposed to be recalled for safety concerns, we never received information on how to return this potentially deadly product.
