These are great. I have now bought three sets. One is a gift for my mom who is having surgery. They are soft and flexible even when frozen and stay put with the holder it comes with.
These are used constantly, kept in a freezer and rotated. They ease shoulder pain.
I love these the best. They have an elastic band on them with velcro that you can wrap around the inflamed area and it stays in place.
These are the gel packs not those terrible beads. 10/10. Don't fold repeatedly or they will bust a seam. They can stay cold for hours depending on your situation. I love these so much. The Velcro on the covers is not messing around so beware of your clothing that it is not damaged.
I first bought these years ago for knee pain. They got my through one knee replacement and surgeries on both feet. Just had one of the old set spring a leak so was glad to find these are still available. I bought two sets as now my other knee needs to be replaced and these are helping manage pain until surgery and will be used after too.
A bit awkward to put on without help, but that's not entirely unexpected if you have a shoulder injury. The only real con about this is the suggested time for heating the packs in the microwave is wrong. It takes more time to heat them, and they dont stay warm long.
My previous gel pack broke, so I finally got a new one. I've used this twice. It burns me when I knead it to spread out the gel to get it to the same temperature throughout. I've never had to do that before and want the kind I had. Also, the packs don't stay as warm as long as others. It's also noisy if you move. I had it under my head and that bothered me while trying to sleep.
I dislike the fact that they are not putting enough gel in these bags an the bags are getting holes in them more frequently than they did when the other company made these an also the covers seams rip very easily. The quality of these ice bags has really gone downhill alot
Not good. The little bag exploded in the microwave for heating even using the directions on the instructions. Also the straps are wayyy too tight and the cloth bag is so thick that the hot or cold compress barely feels room temp so u have to use it outside of the bag and just drape it over you. I returned this item.
Terrible design. The packs can't be put into the sleeves provided. There's only about a 2 inch pocket on one side to try and tuck the pack into. Definitely not enough to keep it in there. Its almost like the strap was put on backwards. if you wrap it around so the cloth is against your skin then tye velco's not facing the right way to stick to anything. Doesn't have much strength if it was usable anyway. Was excited about two sizes of packs but ultimately super disappointed in this purchase and now having to deal with a return.
