These antacids work as well as the name brands, but so much less expensive! I prefer the berry flavored, but I'm sure all flavors are good. Also they have 1,000 mg of Calcium Carbonate per tablet (the stuff that actually settles your tummy), where some have only 300.
These are great calcium fruit flavored chews. Because we produce more stomach acid from 10pm to 2am than other times of day, I take two before going to bed. I also eat a very light dinner. These 2 actions have completely gotten rid of my bedtime acid reflux. This has made the rest of my day so good that I do not need to take them at other times. The twin bottle purchase is a good deal.
I love these way more than the name brand Tums. They taste better and don't leave a bad chalky after taste. The price is decent and love that they come in a double pack. They last longer than any other brands I've tried as well. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I would buy them again and again and again, which I have been doing for years now.
I'm an avid fan of this product. Two reasons. 1.) Great for keeping my calcium levels up in my old age. 2.) Keeps my tummy happy when it gets "out of sorts". Thanks!!!
The plastic bottles are chipped/cracked. A warning - Walmart dies not pack items to protect them. I have had glass jars sent in the past with no wrapping. They were broken! I thought plastic would be safe, no such luck! I prefer the prices and selection, but shipping lacks.
I bought the smaller quantity version, as the regular was out of stock at the time. I had been using them for a while when I noticed what I at first thought was a piece of gray lint. It turned out it was a small bug, like nothing we have here. I emptied the bottle, and to my surprise about a dozen of the insects came scurrying out. I keep it closed all the time, and it had a foil seal when I first opened it. They had to have been in there at the factory, wherever that is. From now on, I will check every one I buy, I've heard about things like this, but it's never happened to me before. At least WalMart refunded me, but I'd prefer a bug free bottle.
I bought a two-pack to leave one bottle in my truck and one on my nightstand. One of the bottles has a taste like the tablets were left in the open air next to a pile of dead bodies, and soaked up the essence of death. Seriously disgusting and I won't be buying them anymore. Lot 98466 Exp. 07/25
I like the product but the plastic bottles should never have been sent in an envelope with very little padding. Both bottles were damaged and the tables were very powdery because of it. I had powder all over the counter and table.
The bottom of one of the bottles was cracked
I received these items today and both bottles of the Antacid were busted.
