These are nice and priced right for the double sales we need to buy. Living with another woman you can never have enough. I got these free this time around but,I have bought them in the past. The wings for me are a must. I find them to be what I need to keep my clothing from getting messed up. The length is great for laying down and when I get up my clothes are not ruined. These absorb a lot more than one might think wearing these. Due to a health issue i am dealing with I use them from one end to the other in no time flat. If your looking to compare these to a popular one you can compare these to always brand pads. That is the brand that I am reminded of as I open the pack to check them out. this brand is very professional in every way. The look of the pad if great. The feel of the pad is great. While the absorbancy i great. This covers the top three things i personally want to cover during my few days of needing these Thanks walmart for allowing me to same this great pad.
i love this line of products because unlike other brands that cost less - their products are most of the time the same if not better than the more costly name brand item. that is the case with these! the equate pads are very absorbent yet light! no bulkiness at all. and i love that the cover is made of a cloth like material. they are very comfortable and the wings keep them in place along with the adhesive. it is the perfect pad that you can wear daily or just on days you need some extra protection. another plus i really like is that each pad comes wrapped so I can keep it in my purse and then use that same wrapping to dispose of the pad when I'm finished using them. i have been using this brand for a while now and i am very pleased with the quality and they've proven to be a consistently reliable product! one of the best liners I have ever used and i will never buy the "big name-brand" again!
I like these. I like the size of them. I like how thin they are. I use them kind of like a panty liner because I'm in my 60s so I don't need them for their intended use lol I just feel fresh in them.
The Equate Ultra Thin Super Long Pads with Wings, 16 count, appear so compact when you hold the package in your hand. Once you open up that package, though, and reveal the pad inside the individual wrapper, it folds open to almost 11 inches of coverage for your panties! That is a lot of pad! I wear these at night since laying down in bed can cause my flow to be a bit messy. These super long pads with wings and adhesives do not fail me. They keep my undies, thighs, and legs clean. The individual wrapper can be used for disposal also. These pads perform just as well as the leading brand, and they certainly meet my needs. The packaging suggests that there is 'odor guard'. I find that it means I don't smell anything--not my flow, not perfume, nothing. I like that it is virtually odor neutral. I can feel confident wearing the pad until I absolutely must change it, because I know nothing is escaping it. My sensitive skin does not mind these pads at all. The packaging states that it has a cotton enhanced 'dri-fit' system to prevent such irritation. As far as I can tell, it works! The fact that each pad is individually wrapped is probably its most underrated aspect. I personally find it to be so convenient to put pads in all my purses, in my car, in overnight bags, etc., that I am very grateful for the discreet wrapper already encasing it so I can just toss it in whatever and go! As every woman knows, you need protection for your clothes during our time of the month. These pads deliver that protection comfortably, effectively, and conveniently. I don't bother with the name brand anymore!
These compare directly with Always ultra-thin long with wings but are so much better priced. I am so sorry I didn’t discover these sooner! They are almost exactly the same- same length and width, same size wings, same thickness when dry, same wrapping and ease of application. They have a slightly more cottony feel but still plastic, and when wet, they feel the same as Always does wet. They wick the liquid away from the wings better then Always. Only con difference is they puff up a bit once wet, so they stiffen/bulk up slightly. They are a fantastic value and I am fully converted over to Equate brand now!
There are some things that you should go ahead and purchase the more expensive name brand items because they are just better quality. That is not the case with the Equate brand Ultra Thin Pads with Wings. They are supposed to be comparable to Always. In my opinion, they definitely compare favorably to the name brand pads. These pads are nice and long which is what I use for overnight use. I love how thin they are. The pads have a cotton enhanced Dri-Fit system that protects from irritation and they have Odor Guard. Both of those are definitely something I look for in a pad. The pad seems to lock away wetness so you do not feel uncomfortable. The pads have a nice thick strip of adhesive almost 2" wide so it holds firmly without shifting. These pads are thin enough that they can be used during the day, also. I always purchase the Equate brand. I have used them for years. They are and excellent buy and I do not ever worry about the quality of the pads. I would definitely recommend the Equate Brand Ultra Thin Long pads to anyone! Great product; great price.
Equate Ultra Thin Super Long Pads With Wings are a pad that is good for light days. It provides greater protection than the ordinary light days pads by having wings and the extra length. The pad has a cotton enhanced surface that keeps the skin dry. The pad moves easily with you so you move naturally and comfortably. The wings help the pad to stay in place, as well as providing the extra protection from leaks. There were 16 pads in the package I have. Each pad is indivdually wrapped for staying fresh in your purse or gym bag. I would recommend this product for all light day situations where you still require the extra protection that the added length and wings provide.
I chose the Equate Ultra Thin Super Long Maxi Pads with Wings so that I could compare them with Always Maxi-Pads (which is the brand I usually use every month). I just turned 30 years old and I have never used tampons. The product says that the maxi pad is longer than the regular ultra-thin so woman can have extra protection during the night time hours while sleeping. The first thing I notice when I opened the Equate Maxi Pad is that the pads are very thin, and I can only use them at the end of my menstrual cycle because I have heavy cycles. I am too nervous to use them during the day, while at work because I do not want to leak on my underwear or clothing and become embarrassed and have to leave work. However, I love the fact that they come with flexi-wings. I prefer my maxi-pads with wings. Flexi-wings keep the maxi pad in place while wearing them. The price of the Equate brand are very reasonable, which is great for those on a budget. I would recommend these for the girls/ women that have light cycles, not for someone with a heavy menstrual cycles.
I really chose this item thinking about my daughter. I looked at the Equate ultra thin support pads with the wings. I did like that option. They also looked as if they would be comfortable being extra thin. My daughter tried them out and told me that they did feel very comfortable not real bulky and uncomfortable. I asked about the wings and she those as added side coverage. They did work! They also performed very well for her usage. She told me that worked well with medium to light cover much better than a panty would be for the light coverage. I asked about the feel of the pads she said the extra longness of them did not bother her like the regular pads. They fine against her skin and did not irate at all. She told me that she intends to buy them. The price is also better too! So I guess I give this is a two thumbs up!
