Equate Ultra Thin panty liners with wings have been used around my house for a couple years now. Ever since I noticed the name brand version of this pad appeared to be lowering in quality while the price kept rising. This specific liner is suggested for overnight use due to the length and the high absorption factor. I find these qualities make them attractive for day use as well. The pad is just the right thickness for those times when you're just not sure if you're going to need a pad at all. If you do and the flow happens to be heavy or you find yourself in a situation where you're not able to change liners as often as you'd like, you're covered. Even if you have to sit for long periods of time and are worried about leakage at the back, this pad can handle it. Let's talk about length. This is what I like best about this product. I actually unwrapped one and measured it--almost 12 inches long. That's a lot of coverage with wings to hold everything nicely in place when you're active during the day or maybe just tossing and turning in bed at night. It absorbs fluid quickly creating at least a sense of dryness for the wearer and cutting down on the risk of seepage at the sides considerably. The top material feels much like a cotton fabric--not perforated plastic like some others on the market that tout their liner's breathability. If you've been using the brand name, give this Equate version a try. I think you'll be happy with your decision.
but not quite... but, i like the long ones. these are size 4, i like size 5 ( which are a little too long and feel like a diaper.) add a short pad to the back and im golden. im an older lady, but can still remember my teens, when these were my go to. plus, the price point is so much better than the $$$ ones. im allergic to everything, and these dont bother me. the scented ones sent me to the e/r. be careful if u have allergies.
For being Walmart brand I see no difference between these and the name brand personal items for women. Except for the price Walmart is the better deal the product works just as good as any ive tried . I have slight leakage since ve gotten into my golden years .lol and these are what I plan on getting from now one. I feel safer with having the wings gives me a more secure fit these are cotton enhanced and since I have t wear 24/7 I feel better knowing I wont have other problems wearing these for so long If you flow hard from your period or have heavy incontinence I would recommend the thicker pads . These pads offer durability if changed every few hours and will help protect your skin that's were the cotton comes in quickly absorbs moisture . These come in a package of 28 Give them a try why spend all that extra money on name brand when you can buy Equate and get the same results ....
this ulta thin pad is just as it says, thin and compact so you can take it with you anywhere. The wings on the sides help keep in place so moving around it will not shift. The adhesive on the pads it very effective for all around comfort from the back to the front as will as on the sides. I am a senior and I find this pad a must have for every day to keep me feeling fresh all say long. The outer wrapper can also be used to discretely place the pad in for disposal. This will be a regular on my monthly shopping list from now on
I like the comfortable cotton enhanced feel of these pads from Equate. They hold up well with full coverage front to back. The flexi wings are nice because they wrap around your panty for added protection. The length is a little too long for me but it's fine because when I use them overnight I know I won't have issues. These pads have an unscented odor guard that is great to have so you feel confident during the day. I used these at night on my lighter days since they are thin pads but they probably would work well on heavy days too. I really like the color and design of the wrapper. I can easily throw them in my tote bag and not worry about them standing out for others to see. I bought another brand that had a purple wrapper that really stood out in my tote bag so I had to hide it on the bottom of my bag. The shape of these pads is really nice because they fit well on my pantry with no bulky feeling. I really like the outside packaging which is really clever because it has a nice picture of the product, a clear see through strip where you can view the color of the wrapper and a moon that shows you they are overnight pads. Also, it's nice to know that they are made in the USA.
These are just as good as the name brand. i remember trying these 5 years ago and the adhesive strips weren't great. This product has improved and I will continue to buy to save $.
Ok Ladies, here is an honest review so there is no surprises during our monthly. This is a free product I chose to write for WalMart spark Review process. Compared to the “Always” brand, equate has come up with a decent product with built in features such as odor guard, soft sides for minimal irritation, The packaging also states the cotton is enhanced as a Dri-Fit system to help protect sensitive skin from irritation. Here is the honest part, if you are flowing heavy, these just won’t do the trick because they are too thin, the wetness does not absorb fast or well and tends to travel. This is an obvious problem if you are going to sleep due to position changes. The length is just fine and if you are in your lighter days, I think this is a great option. Ultra Thin is exactly what they are. The top layer of fabric used which touches your skin feels cotton soft which is thoughtful. The wings have their own sticky protector to help you get your best fit.The wings are set in position similar to a ¾ split. The packaging is very nice, convenient but as you can imagine this product is long so it is not very small in your purse size wise but they are not bulky. In the package I received, there is 28 count well packaged. Would I recommend these to a friend, yes. For overnight, not so certain, for heavy days, definitely not. The value for this product is still great. Everyone is different but understanding what product is best for you is key. I hope this helps.
I usually use Always Radiant. Memory foam, completely different material. Works wonders. But I've also used the regular Always pads as well, and I expected these to be similar. They're not. The pad doesn't "spread out" the blood, instead soaking it into the spot where the blood hit the pad and overflowing on the edges. Even when it could've gone up or down the pad where there was no blood. I wouldn't buy these again, but I'll continue using the rest for lighter days. Definitely not heavy flow or overnight.
These pads are a joke. They don't even pass for "light". OVERNIGHT? I wore them for two hours and it soaked right through to my underwear and sheets! I'm not a heavy "leaker" but want to be prepared, and these are just unbelievably bad. The reviews cannot be valid - not all of them anyway. REFUNDED.
My dog used to love the original beef Pupperoni. Now she won't even touch them. The receipe may not have changed but the ingredients have changed in some way. Is Walmart asking for additional price reductions, I wonder?
