My wife, who is 5'2" spends many hours at the computer. She always used a doughnut cushion to relieve her discomfort and the often swelling of her feet. This knee chair has met all of our expectations. The chair was easy to assemble. We were able, working together, to have it ready for use in just a few minutes. My wife uses the chair even for sitting at the dinner table. She has a big smile every time she sits on it and finds it very easy to get on and off. The cushions are very comfortable and the chair is very stable. She feels rested as soon as she sits on the chair. Also, she is able to scoot about as she does her work. Of course a bit of caution is recommended and it is definitely not recommended for children. This chair is an excellent value and we recommend it to anyone who has a posture problem.
This kneeling chair was pretty easy to assemble and I do find it to be comfortable. I've only been using it for about two weeks though and the padding is already rather compressed, so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. The chair is adjustable by height, but there is no way to adjust the angle of the seat or kneeling pads. I do like the chair overall, especially for the price point. I was uncertain if I would like a kneeling chair and wanted to try it. I consider my experiment to be a success.
This chair meets my needs to have a correct posture while sitting. Just be careful of the floor beneath the rollers. The chair could slip from under you.
I Absolutely loved my previous 4 pint base Office Star chair and decided to "upgrade" to the more "safe" 5 point base. While 5 point base is very stable, the Knee pad placement a bit different and the seat is noticeably not level. I am unable to adjust to make it flat. So its a return for me and purchase the 4 point wooden base.
I bought it between Christmas and New Years....it arrived shortly after New Year's ...assembly was very easy except for the three short screws that appeared to be missing...turns out they were screwed into the connector pieces and quite snugly at that...the holes in a couple of the bags threw me off...so it all ended well and I am quite happy with the product...it reduces the back strain quite a bit...
Sitting in this was comfortable for the first 15 minutes each time I used it, but then it caused back strain. I think that if I already had good posture, this would be an excellent chair to use because it keeps your back straight; but sitting straight when your posture isn't good causes strain. The knee pads are very soft and comfortable though.
We had one before we really liked, and the chair worked well at first. We bought it in may, now it's September and one wheel keeps falling off, and now a 2nd is loose. The problem is the wheels just screw directly into the wood, which strips over time. If you buy one I would recommend a different leg material. The wood looks nice, but not holding up. Of course we just missed the window of a return or exchange by a month.
I used to have a kneeling chair and loved it. I bought this one because the foam looked nice and thick. I should have trusted the other reviews - I'm 5'10" and this chair is much too small. It is not adjustable enough to accommodate me comfortably.
I am 6'1" with sciatica pain that is aggravated by sitting . This knee chair allows me to work for 30 to 45 minutes with less discomfort and I recover quicker than before . The height of the seat is adjustable but the tilt of both the seat and knee support is not adjustable . An adjustable tilt might make this chair more comfortable . I'm glad I have this chair but I'll keep looking for a better one .
Firstly, the chair is not memory (viscoelastic) foam. It feels like latex foam. No matter what kind of foam it has, it's far too soft, and the foam compresses completely with very little weight (and at 160 lbs, I don't have a huge amount of weight). As a result, your weight ends up on hard wood. It's also very oddly proportioned. The knee pad is too close to the seat, resulting in a really cramped sitting position. The butt pad is also very tall and angled poorly, which results in a feeling of sliding off. It's bad for big people and bad for small people. In short: chair bad, refund good.
