bought the black long lasting shade since im not working during the current situation and can't wear black nail polish. I was super satisfied with the long longevity of the polish. Decided to buy a more natural shade and im very satisfied with the colour and with proper nail prep and application it really does look like a gel manicure. I used the here to stay base coat, 2 coats of sheer fantasy and then their top coat from the long lasting line. Really satisfied :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this top coat, along with the gel shade in “Closing Night”. This was my first time trying Essie gel polish —previously, I had only ever used their regular nail varnish. I applied it, and was satisfied to find that, both the gel, and top coat lasted for at least a week and a half. No chipping!! This made me very happy, as normally with regular nail polish, I am constantly having to repaint them (I am a Flight Attendant, so our nails always have to look en pointe). I am very satisfied with these, and am definitely looking forward to trying some of their other spring gel colors, love it!!! *I received this product free for testing
I've been using this produce for over 2 years. I would not go to a salon again for gel nails. I re apply topcoat every 2 days. Up to 3 applications, sealing the nail thoroughly. I've been on holiday with sand, water, and intense heat. This product has never failed to impress me. My nails are very healthy too. I use a base coat to avoid staining the nail, and improve wear. Avoid alcohol hand gel! And you'll have nails that will last 2 weeks! ❤️

Put it on Sunday nights and it lasts until I take it off the next Sunday! This is a great black with jade shimmer. Perfect for Fall and Winter!
This is the best stuff I've ever had on my nails (I have tried it all)!!! I cannot believe this lasted 14 days with very minimal wear (only slight cracking at the tips on a few fingers). It also comes off nicely with nail polish remover. I'll never buy anything else. I cannot believe how good this product is! The picture is on day 11!
My girlfriend has a beauty blog (mymodernbeauty.com) and asked me to try out the Essie 'Rock the Runway' nail polish, since I've been helping test all the nail polishes for a second opinion. Of all the polishes I've tried, this went on so smoothly. The 1st coat dried quickly, as did the 2nd. The top coat dried even faster! It was all set and dry before I could even mess it up! The BEST part about this 2-step polish is that the top coat didn't remove the polish or mess up the polish like other top coats I've tried. It is super shiny and looks great, dare I say even professional?? (and I'm by far not the best nail polisher). I'm only a couple chip-free days into it, but I would DEFINITELY buy/use/recommend even if it didn't last the touted "up to 14 days." Well done Essie!

I recieved this top coat along with a color in my Influenster box this month. I was excited to try it since I've always been a huge Essie fan, but I was super bummed at the results. It looked beautiful and applied so well, which is why I'm giving it two stars. The applicator was amazing, I always have trouble painting my nails and this made it flawless. But a few hours later, I was washing dishes and my nails started PEELING OFF WHOLE like they were sticker decals. I was really really bummed since I had spent so much time painting my nails and following the directions, only to have half my nails peel off while doing a task as simple as dishes a few hours later. *I was not paid or compensated for this review* [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Lovely colour and great to apply, didn't last long before chipping but I wasn't expecting it to as I'm quite hard on my polish. As directed, I didn't use a base coat but when I removed the polish before starting back at work (no bright polish allowed) I was shocked to find my nails stained really badly! I tried a couple of coats of Essie Vanity Fair to no avail! Any ideas as to how I remove this ugly stain Essie?
