We call these super pills, when I feel like I might be getting sick, I take one. When I feel like I'm definitely sick, I take one every 12 hrs and I usually feel better within 72hrs. When my kids are sick, I take it and I don't get sick. I love these things.
I have been taking Ester C for many years and don't want to be without it. I had been using it for years already when my physical therapist saw my list of medications he told me that he takes one every morning. I thought if a physical therapist sees the need for Ester C in his young body, that was good enough for me.
I fully believe this is saving my life and preventing me from getting sick. Starting last year when I began to take it and at some point my mom got the flu, which would typically mean that I would get it, but i didn't and I credit that to this vitamin C supplement. I'm using this FOREVER!!!!
I love that this vitamin C, is high dose, 1000 mg(which I require due to health issues), formulated to stay in your circulatory system up to 24 hours. Non acidic, so no tummy upset, either. The only downside, is the tablets are large, although their elongated shape is a bit easier to get down with a large swallow of water. I will purchase these again!
I am prone to severe seasonal allergies/ and acute upper respiratory infections. When I take Ester C, it gives my immune system an extra boost and if I catch the sniffles it is not as severe. If I run out of these, and off of them for a week or so...... I notice that cold like symptoms tend to creep up🤧. So I have learned to keep them on hand.
My health isn't good, I'm sick a lot but not with viruses, I've been taking these since the late 80's and have had the flu only once. No colds or any other viruses, I even managed to stay COVID free even though everyone around me was getting sick. Ester C is great for virus protection and many other things.
Ester-Vitamin C is a Priority in my Daily Arsenal of Vitamins Supplements. Having been Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1988, I am the First One in the Room to catch everything that everyone else in the Room has already been exposed to. If I am around someone who has the Common Cold, I will have Bronchitis within 3 Days. So I take one of the Best deterrents I can, 1000 mg of Ester-C Immune Support Tablets, to at least give myself a Chance.
My doctor told me that Eater C was the very best vitamin C and I remembered that my mom always took it. She lived to be 93, so I will follow her example and hope to be around that long. Even though it is a large pill(1000mg), it is easy to swallow.
I not only had trouble swallowing the whole pill; I can't even get half of the pill down my throat. I've taken a lot of vitamins for years, but this is the biggest, hardest pill I've come across. I have no idea if they are a good source of vitamin C, since I've never been able to get them down my throat. And like I've mentioned, even when trying to swallow one-half of a pill at a time, the darn thing would get caught every time in my throat and eventually (hopefully) coughed out instead of being there for hours till my gag reflexes expelled it. Sorry for the bad review. Deborah
