Happy with product! Bought to control flood light when walking to or from neighbors at night!
I've used other brands, but what I found with ETEKCITY is that their equipment is reliable, works well with my Alexa system and when it does drop off (due to power issues, etc), it doesn't take long for it to reconnect. I've used EWELINK and they completely failed on me. Tried ETEKCITY and I'm now a loyal customer. I've put them in every light switch in my 4800 sq ft, 3 level home, and I use their plug ins for individual lights (night lights, etc.). They have my strongest recommendation as an exceptional product.
Works well. Connects very effortlessly to my home Wi-Fi and the app.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in a 4 pack and immediately hooked them up. Installation was a breeze but that's because I know my way around electrical wires. Used my voltmeter to find out which one was the live wire. After that matching the wires to the ones on the back of the switch which is nicely labeled btw; was a breeze. Connection to the app and syncing with my Alexa was also easy. Wife loves walking in and saying turn on kitchen light.

I have been a Wemo fan since they came out and they have been doing nothing but going up in price and down in quality. It has gotten so bad that I now refuse to buy ANYTHING Wemo. Your switches are priced just right and are 100 times more reliable than Wemo. I LOVE your dimmer switch and wish you offered the same color options for your standard switches. Keep up the great work!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After over a week of use I have to say it has been working great. The connection is strong unlike most wifi electronics I did not have to reconnect multiple times. The instructions were simple to follow and the features were easy to see making for quick selection if you know what you need.
The switch programming and startup are great in functionality. Only negative comment is the size of the unit itself. The units size makes it a little difficult to add into existing 2 or 3 gage wall boxes but once in place they function well.
The device is reasonably priced, is one of the few out there that doesn't require a hub, and is aesthetically pleasing. Some improvements would be adding energy monitoring in the app.
I installed it properly and it did not work. I am getting tired of going through their tedious options.
