Once installed I simply downloaded the app added it to my Google home system and had Google turning on the lights in my home. Even better is being able to control the lights of my home while being away on vacation and when approaching my home after getting back from work.

We just bought a house with LED lights so these switches came in handy to provide that customization I would normally do with wifi bulbs. They were easy to install and set up. Super convenient when you have your hands full or our kids forget to turn the lights off. And the backlighting is a nice looking feature too. My husband installed these and didn't have any issues at all - no, he is not an electrician.

It is easy to install as long you pay attention and follow the directions as directed. By installing the app, there is a lot you can do. Like the switch can be turned off, and changed colors, you can set up a timer for bedtime, or security lights while you out, and can share the app with a loved one. I love the fact that you can dim the lights in any room without being present in that particular room or at the house. Highly recommended.

No going back now though! The dimmer works really well and it's nice that I can use the Alexa integration. The app is pretty easy to understand and get used to which is nice. I'll likely get a few more for other areas of my house.

The height of the actual device was too tall and the ring had to be filed down, you also need an extra deep box. Once installed it worked as described and our teenage son is happy that he can turn his light off from the comfort of his bed.
