This is a great idea and it works wonderfully!
This product is convenient and easy to use and one of the best things I've ever bought for my special companion. He goes with me nearly everywhere, even to school sometimes, and this waterbottle takes hastle out of keeping enough water ready to use.
We have a 4 month old Rotty that we walk around our neighborhood every night. I noticed she was getting thirsty mid-walk so I bought two of these water bottles. We were going to leave one in the car but it's so convenient to carry that I gave one to my sister-in-law for her dog. It works exactly as described, comes with a small amount of instructions and is extremely easy to use. It is also lightweight. The best part, in my opinion, is that the water comes out into the tray at a pretty slow rate so there is hardly any water wasted!
We were driving from Texas to Washington (total of three days in the car), so this Portable Pet Waterer came in very handy! It's easy to use, and after our dog figured out what it was, he was glad to see us bring it out!

I was overall happy with this purchase. The bottle itself is made a little cheap. It is very handy and portable to take with you.
It doesn't work as well as I had hoped it would. The idea is great! But it's hard to sqeeze the bottle enough to fill the containter with water and it takes a while. It's much easier to just unscrew the cap and pour it in there. I love the idea of it tho. I can clip it on my belt loop and take my dog for a walk and then when she needs a drink I just unclip it, unscrew the cap and pour her some water.
Didnt work as well as I had hoped it would. Wanted this for a car trip and ended up not even using it. Wasn't as handy as the description claimed.
Water leaks out from the bottle when not in use, even when kept upright. The loop is not very functional to use if you want to clip it to a back pack as the bottle/case will just swing back and forth a lot.
