Milky sap gives meaning to the common name of African Milk Tree. The stems are 3 or 4 sided with small leaves attached primarily at the top of the stems. Native to South Africa, plants are true succulents and can tolerate dry conditions and bright, indirect light. They grow straight up and make a great accent where an upright plant in needed indoors.
