About 18 months ago, my sugar levels rose to 147. My doctor wanted to put me on Metformin, but after researching the devastating side effects, I opted to use Sucontral-D, based on a recommendation from my chiropractor. Blood test last proved this works as my blood sugar is now 95. What amazes me is that I still enjoy an occasional sweet dessert or a bagel. I've been taking this for the past two months for my hypoglycemia and insulin resistance that are compounded by Armour Thyroid that I take for Hashimoto's. I found this supplement to be extremely beneficial in reducing and close to eliminating my low blood sugar and cravings for sweets. I take 3 capsules per day and find that works better than the recommended 2 per day.
My doctor prescribed Metformin, but I didn't want to take it due to the side effects. I met with a nutritionist who recommended this product. My A1c level dropped a complete point in less than 3 months and my blood sugars dropped significantly. My only "wish" is that it would come in a bottle, instead of packets of aluminum foil.
