We actually use this as a room partition for our dogs. Both my 3 and 5 year old haven't been able to break it yet, and it keeps our open archways closed so the dogs don't get into the other side of the house. I'd highly recommend. I don't think it'd be good for a baby as they could lean on it and push it over.
Its a great alternative in comparison to the traditional plastic or wood gates and it's simply just as efficient. I like that it's easy to set up as doing so simply entails the loosening and tightening of a tension rod and it doesn't present a bulky appearance. Great purchase!
Easy to set up, I like the look. So far so good, secure so far. Using it in a kitchen opening. Do not use any kind of pressure mount gate on stairs.

I love this adjustable gate...just turn one side on each level to change to fit many size openings with damage to walls or woodwork. The upper rail is lightly padded to avoid little bumps and bruises and the soft mesh is a sturdy barrier but again a great safety feature! It's a lot of protection , easy to pack along on vacations or to grandma's house and very easy on the wallet !
This was perfect to block a large doorway from baby coming out and dogs coming in. Its sturdy, was easy to set up, and the price was great! Low enough for an adult to step over without taking down every time.
This gate is great for our home. Its sturdy enough to keep my 9 month old from knocking it over even when he tries climbing it. It is very stylish compared to other baby gates and fits into the decor in our home. The only issue is that you have to continually step over it since it doesn't have an opening. It is low enough for me to step over, but it is obnoxious multiple times a day.
Its easy to set up, sturdy. The only thing I dont like is the knobs that are twisted to extend/shrink the poles, are very small. Its hard to reach your hands to twist it. I used the gate at the bottom of the stairs and the space between the wall and the rubber end peice that twists, is very small.
I ended up returning because the top and bottom suspension bars were SUPER heavy. My concern was if they slipped out of place they would hurt whatever they fell down on top of - in our case a new puppy. I cant speak to their effectiveness because the weight kept us from keeping them.
i really wanted to love this gate cause it fit perfect in a area i needed it to but ripped after 1 month
