Hubby loves it and he put it together within the same day. Took less than an hour. I think it's a great purchase.
Love the Everlast dual station heavy bag stand. It’s better and sturdier than expect. I wish the Everlast speed bag I ordered from Amazon was the same quality. It started deflating after about 10 minutes. The stand however gets 5 stars.
I hung a hundred pound punching bag. This product is very strong and built with great quality. I am enjoying it so much.
I bought this to use with a 75-pound heavy bag. Assembly took me about an hour, and I had to flip some of the screws to push from the opposite side the drawing showed because some of the holes required a little finagling. It’s sturdy, and I’m super happy with it.
Love this stand. Added 25lb weights for stability. Very solid.
I was pleased when we went to put it together and everything we needed was in the box. There were no scratch es or ware and tear. It didn't take long at all to assemble, but I do recommend the weights because you will need them to hold the stand down once the bag is placed on it.
Good quality bag and stand. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the pole end where the logo piece fits in was bent to the point at which I can't fit it in even after using players etc. to mold it back in shape.
Purchased more for speed bag work than the heavy bag but I'll use both. This is the second one I've owned. It's a solid stand but there are some important things to know in advance of purchasing. Despite its size, it moves around easily unless you add weights. I chose to use four 50-pound bags of sand rather than plates because they're a fraction of the price at less than $4 per bag. To increase stability of the speed bag platform, I added a second, heavier platform (a 24" wooden table top bought at one of those large hardware stores) to the top of the thin one Everlast provides. It makes a world of difference, especially if you lay a 50-pound sand bag on top of it. Longer bolts will be necessary if you do this and they help hold the sand bag in place perfectly. This was not expensive but a drill is needed if you add the second wooden platform. The speed bag swivel provided is absolutely worthless and will almost certainly frustrate any user, especially a newbie. Spend another $25 or so for an upgraded swivel. Trust me on this - definitely worth every penny! It fits the same holes so it's a simple change. It's possible to assemble and move around with just one reasonably strong person but much easier with a second. One tip is to NOT tighten the bottom pieces and support tubes until you have every bolt in place. Another tip - a ratchet set (deep-socket is best) can make things go faster if you have one but it's not necessary for completion. I used the provided tools and it was ok.
It is very well made , much better than the last stand I had. It took about 35 - 40 minutes to assemble I recommend using an Allen socket and a real wrench to make it less of a pain. The only thing I would recommend changing is to change the swivel for the speed bag before installing the speed bag bc the one it comes with is horrible and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I would recommend purchasing this set up for your heavy bag needs you won't be disappointed. It's an Everlast baby!!!
good solid stand. speed bag part could be a little more sturdy. the holes on the bottom part of the stand did not line up correctly. i did a loose fit on the whole stand and had to work the bolts in but after that everything tightened down just fine.
