I had shopped around for a recumbent bike and found WalMart on line to be the best buy, plus the ease of picking it up at the store of my choosing. So far I am quite pleased with the machine.
My husband assembled the bike in 30 minutes and it is very well built. I like all the different measurements on it. It measures distance, time, mileage, calories, rpm and pulse. Very satisfied. A little bigger than I thought but I still like it.
Product says it has a weight capacity of 300lb but instruction booklet says 250lb weight capacity. The assembling directions are not clear, for example, some screws look very similar and the only difference is the length but instructions don't specify which length to use. One of the screws for the bottom seat cushion broke during assembly. Machine made a clacking sound when being used the first 3 uses and then sound dissapeared. It keeps time, date, distance, calories burned, etc but you must completely erase the whole memory including date & time to reset everything back to zero before each use or manually click button down to zero for each category. That means that if you burned 200 calories in your last little workout you must click down to zero 200 times not to mention the time, distance, etc. The plastic encasing the inner wheels & magnets seems very cheap. Other than that it works fine just not sure how long it will last.
It was smashed in shipment so I sent it back. Even the parts that weren't broken were pretty rinky-dinky, so I ended up getting a higher quality one instead.
