Product is good....the punch bag exercise is much better than what I expected....I got the punching bag as well and I am happy with the decision.....would strongly recommend to all those bored wth the typical cycling, treadmill, stepper routines to stay in shape
I bought these for my 21yr son for Christmas and he loved them. I bought him 2 pairs. Delivery was before the due date, which was a plus, and over all, don't have any negative complaint.
Everlast is a great product. These gloves are top drawer and are finely crafted as they have been for over 100 years. The antimicrobial treatment and mesh vent panels keeps them fresh. The closed cell foam construction is great for hand protection. These gloves come in a really nice webbed bag with a Full Body Boxing Workout in 3 Rounds. The thumb is attached to the glove for protection and they have a 'cord grip' inside for extra gripping power. I personally like red, but they come in blue, black and pink for the ladies. Also, I like 14oz although I'm a Heavyweight. They come in 12oz, 14oz, & 16oz. I also own the black 100th Anniversary 70 lb Heavy bag and Black Anniversary Gloves, hand wraps, etc........... I'm an Everlast man! all the greats wore Everlast.
Bought two pair of these gloves (one red, one blue 12oz) for my grandsons ages 9 and 11 with an Everlast 70lb bag. They went nuts! When they got tired of beating the bag, they boxed each other. When they got tired of boxing each other they beat me! We had a blast. Gotta get them head gear SOON! Seem like good, sturdy gloves on the exterior, we'll see how well the interior holds up.
I bought these gloves for my 10 year old son hoping that my husband and I could also use them. They fit all 3 of us. I bought the 12 oz.
I was looking for a good pair of boxing gloves and I found these Everlast gloves on Walmart's website. They were listed at a cheaper price compared to other sporting good stores like Sport Chalet, Sports Authority, Big 5, and Dick's. I ordered them and they were expected to be shipped within one week. I ended up getting them in 2 days! Great product and great service!
Their really good gloves over all feels good wheb punching a bag or sparing but only wish the manufacture good make sure string dont always stick out then when u pull them out glove starts to fall apart noticed this in almost every kind of gloves they have and then need to return them and go threw tgis whole process just to get new ones
My buddy and I use the 12oz. version of these for sparring in our training sessions. The gloves are stiff to the point where it's hard to even hold a mouth guard. They have a bit less padding than the "Everlast 12oz Classic Training Gloves," so punches have more impact. So far, I haven't seen any wear and tear on these gloves and I've been using them practically every day for the last week or so. Eventually, we will be upgrading to much higher quality gloves, but for budget sparring sessions or strike training, I would say these are most likely your best bet, and the best bang for your buck -- literally.
These look great and my son loves them but they have a odd smell like gasoline. I think it is the plastic they used for the gloves...I have researched and using fabric sheets to air them out.
Bought these to start training, and in about a week they fell apart. The stuffing migrated to the top and sides (away from the knuckles, where you'd want it) and some of the stitching fell out. Definitely out of character for an Everlast product. This is classic you-get-what-you-pay-for.
