Great quality, really sturdy stand. Easy to assemble, put it together by myself. You will want to add weights to it like any other heavy bag stand. The only con is that you can't adjust the height for the double end bag mount. This is the stand to get if you don't have much room to work with and for the price, it's the best one I've found.
This was nice set up basically easily to put together I did have some bent poles that made some of it hard to put together but fix that with a hammer. Overall two thumbs up happy with it for sure couldn't beat the price .
WENT TOGETHER EASY. ALL BOLT HOLES LINED UP. WELDING IS GOOD. MATERIAL SEEMS LIKE GOOD QUALITY. SPEED BAG WOOD BACKING IS THERE FOR LOOKS. I BACKED IT UP WITH A ONE INCH X 24 INCH ROUND WOOD FROM H.D. GLUE AND SCREW TOGETHER. MOUNTING NEEDS TO HAVE A CROSS TUBING WELDED ON TO KEEP IT FROM ROCKING. SPEED BAG MOUNTING NEEDS TO BE BOLTED ON.THIS WILL BE MY NEXT PROJECT. GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE.
Arrived on schedule. Box was in acceptable condition( the heavy bag box was a disaster) easy to assemble. The instructions are a little vague. Very sturdy. I have not gotten weights for the base yet. Assembly can be done by one person, but I suggest you get a hand when putting on the heavy bag.
Does not include heavy bag. In one part of the description, it mentions that the heavy bag is included but it arrived without one. Needless to say, I had to make an emergency run to my local Hibbett's and spend another $100. It did work as expected and is heavy duty, though.
Assembly is time consuming, but fairly easy. As far as the workout you can get from this product goes, you can get a good sweat going, but of course nothing beats hitting a bag that hangs freely overhead with the ability to circle around it without restrictions. But that aside it's a decent product that allows you some decent cardio while practicing your technique especially for novices or weekend warriors, not for the Canelos or Pacquiaos out there.
The heavy bag and double end bag work better hanging from the ceiling because they give you more room to circle them and work angles but if you can't do that this is a nice alternative. This unit must be heavily weighed down or it will move around a lot. You can put weights on the pegs or just cover the base in sand bags to keep it still. Another downside to the stand is that you can't put the heavy bag on a swivel or it will be too low (unless you are short). I hang the heavy bag right from the stand without the swivel and the height works for me that way (I'm 6'2"). The stand will work fine for most people and I do recommend it, but know that using a stand is not the most ideal way to use a heavy bag. A tip for the double end bag is that the bungee cords that most bags come with aren't going to work with this. They will either be too long or if you buy the cheap Everlast bag it will be way too low for use (the bag will end up half way down the unit when it needs to be at your chin). Either get your own bungee cords of different sizes or buy the RDX double end bag that comes with the adjustable strap. A tip for the speed bag is to put a sand bag on top of the speed bag platform to reduce the noise and vibration.
The Everlast three station stand is not bad for the price, it works as it should, note that it doesn't come with the double end bag, speed bag, or heavy bag you will have to purchase these items separately, walmart did an excellent job on shipping, item arrived fast and was not damaged, basically if you need something that won't break the bank but still gets the job done this is a good buy, their are other set ups like this but they are usually expensive.
It comes with just the stand no punching bags.
The one I received seems to have had a problem with the powder coating so I cannot properly set up one of the bags.
