These may not be the greatest, most long lasting batteries, but with the 2 year free replacement it doesn't matter. They usually die right before the 2 years are up and I get another battery for free. Can't beat free batteries for the rest of the time you own the vehicle. Who doesn't have 15 to 20 minutes to spare every two years to change it?
Battery dies after exactly 2 years. Would not recommend.
I bought one of these, and it only lasted 18 months before needing replaced.
Exactly same experience as other customer reviews. Battery lasted only 13 months, and when it did go, it would not hold a charge at all. Died so quickly, I did would not have had time to replace it before I found myself stranded. Lucky for me that I used the battery in my side-by-side for recreational use, and was able to check it before taking it to go play. Would not recommend, especially if you would need to rely on it's performance. This battery and its quality (or lack thereof) is a recipe for a real predicament.
My battery is completely dead after only a year and a half. The warranty only covers a year, so now I'm out the money/warranty for this battery and have to buy a new, more expensive one. Going to make sure it's got a longer warranty and isn't a cheap one like this. Cold weather came and I was left stranded for days until I could hook up a charger, wait for hours and get going. One time I drove it in the cold (it had started fine), came home, then went out 10 minutes later and it wouldn't start again. I've had to charge it 4 times this winter and it never stays charged.
If you have a small to medium 4x4 truck this battery will not last you a full winter. As soon as the temps hit under freezing I have had nothing but problems with this battery. Conveniently exactly one month past the warranty. Spend the extra money and get a good one. This batter is garbage.
Mine quit holding a charge at 13.5 months on a 12 month warrenty. wasted $50.00. Will replace with something other than walmart.
Lasted 13 months just like the other reviews. Will pay more next time and get one that lasts
I thought this battery was a bargain but you get what you pay for. It was already months old when I bought it and now I can't find the receipt to prove whether the true age is 12 months or less. Invest your money in a 2 or 3 year warranty for only $20 to $40 more. This will be the second time I've had to replace the same battery so guess it's time to switch brands. Being stranded stinks.
This is a poor battery. Mine barely made it past the year warranty and it croaked. As soon as the cold weather hit, it wouldn't even light up my dome light. This battery would only be good if you are trading the car off within a month or two. If you need good service life, get something better.
