This icebox filter works well. The taste of our filtered water is as good as bottled water. I also like using this icebox filter because I can subscribe to automatic shipments.
EveryDrop filtered water is equivalent to the cartridges I've been buying from Whirpool since 2001 and this water tastes better than all brands of bottled water.
The product is easy to install and change out when time comes to replace it. It works perfectly. I have no complaints, other than it costs too much. But then again, so does everything.
It is the replacement for my refrigerator filter . Long lasting filter.
Have previously purchased this product and have always been satisfied with its effectiveness and how long it lasts. Use in my Whirlpool refrigerator religiously.
I bought this filter today at a local store, after researching the correct filter number for my refrigerator. The filter 5 that was recommended on your website, does not fit. It will not “engage.” After reading other reviews, it appears that the bad fit is due to some tooling issues while being manufactured. Please help me get a filter that has been corrected. Thanks,
I'm have the same problem as others wrote regarding the fact that it does NOT FIT and won't turn to lock in place. I'm extremely disappointed as I've had this refrigerator for 18 years and have loved it. Now I can't get filtered water out of it. Had been so happy with this whirlpool product but now have to reconsider whether I purchase another whirlpool refrigerator in the future. (Model # is GD5SHGXKT01)

Just replaced my Whirlpool 4396510 (that I have been using for years with no problems) with one of these and the water pressure has been reduced to less than half. I pulled it out and reinstalled just to be sure but got the same result. Water seems fine but I have no intention to stand by the fridge for 2 minutes to fill a glass of water. Will not buy again.
I ordered the part that you all said I ordered last time. What I received does not fit my refrigerator and doesn't even look the same as what I have and need.
