The boars hairs are the perfect strength for my course hair. They smooth my edges perfectly without scratching the skin at my hairline. Unlike the boars hairs brushes that have the spongy concave surface into which the hairs are stuck, these hairs will not recede into the wood, or, come out making the brush bald and useless. I expect with constant use the hairs will show some wear, time will tell. I believe I'll have a lot of time before that happens.
