Happy with this purchase, feel the price was good for the quality of the product. Not looking for fancy but adequate, this is a good product. Took considerable time to put together (2.5 hours), even though my husband is quite good at that type of thing. Very smooth ride, tracks all your vitals and important information, seat adjustable for shorter or longer legs, weighs 70 pounds so is movable to a degree. Takes up a small amount of space. Low to the floor so very easy to get on and off which is important to me since I am older and have a lot of arthritis. The product arrived 3 days prior to stated date which was a plus. All parts were there, nothing missing, no issues with the purchase, the shipping or the product. Am enjoying using this bike.
I am 5'6" and weigh 170 lbs. This bike is perfect for me! Takes up minimal amount of room compared with old recumbent bike which was so large and heavy I could not move the bike around. Very quiet for watching TV. A good workout on the lowest tension setting. I feel like it is well made. My husband put it together for me with not much effort if you are mechanical at all. I am not and would not have been able to put it together myself. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
Instructions could have been made a little easier to follow, but all in all not that bad. Took about 1 hour to assemble, taking my time. Shipment was short 1 of the plastic straps that go around the foot peddles. Contacted the toll free number on one of the decals and received a free replacement about 3 days later. It is very quite and I'm happy with it. Now all I have to do is make myself get on it once in a while...
I needed to buy a recumbent bike to build up my knee muscles. I went to a local "used" exercise equipment store to see what they had. I definitely liked some of their bikes more than others but they were pricy. My favorite trick is buy something then not use it. So I decided to get a less expensive one to see if I will use it. I am using it and it is great. I am getting the same exercise, the machine works flawlessly so far. It is quiet and smooth. Plus I saved $940.00. Putting it together was an IQ test, mostly of patience but if you read the directions it comes out perfect. They give you all the tools you need. I assembled it on a workbench and brought it to the ground myself one end at a time. It has little wheels so you can wheel it around yourself. Be aware that the box weighs 70 pounds from the store. I leaned the shopping cart over sideways and nice lady helped me get it in my SUV. It could fit in the back seat but you might need help doing that. This is a good one, buy it.
First of all, Walmart assembled this exercise bike for me, which was wonderful! I could have bought it a little cheaper at Amazon, but Walmart's service was amazing. I am using this bike for a hour each day to keep my knees agile. I had a knee replacement in July, and this bike is a great way to be active and keep the legs strong. I want to watch TV while I'm exercising and this monitor is nice and low. Also, there is an easy walk-through and handles to hold onto as you step through and get seated. This bike exceeds my expectations.
This is a great machine. I am 75 and I had no trouble putting it together, it took me about 1 1/2 hours. I work out on it 5 days a week, I am diabetic and need to exercise 5 days a week and this helps me a lot.
Love love love the bike. Smooth and quite. It took me a little extra time for me to put together because my fingers don't work well. (Arthritis) BUT if I can put it together anybody can. It came in a box that was packed so well I was amazed. Nothing ever comes packed as good as that did. If your under 5'9" it is a little hard to reach the pedals...not impossible. I put a small pillow behind me and it works perfect!!!! I TOTAL recommend this bike!!
It arrived ahead of time, that was good. I put it together and found a small crack in the plastic cover. Assembly took quite a bit of time. The computer didn't work. I called the costumer service number in the instruction manual twice. No answer both times. Left message, no return call. Got GREAT service when I returned the bike to the Walmart store in Greenville, Michigan.
First the bike came in broken. When we opened the package the housing was cracked. Parts of this bike are made from plastic and the plastic is not sturdy either. After riding this bike for a few days now, I notice that the seat gets loose very easy. You have get off the bike and keep tightening the knob (there are three knobs that keep the seat on). I will have to either buy a longer screw and bolt/nut to stop this from happening or return the bike (if I can return it to Walmart - not sure because this didn't come from Walmart in spite of me purchasing it online through Walmart). I'm 5'7 and weigh 223 pounds and the seat is not big enough for me. If you are a small person, you may be fine, but if you are not, then get a different bike. Alongside the seat are handle bars to hold onto - my thighs go over the handle bars and sitting is very painful in spite of me placing a seat cushion on it. In addition, the knob which controls the tension is VERY hard to turn. This is a dumb place for the knob. My other bike had a button that I could press to get a higher tension. The bike is not made properly and if I could ever get hold of someone from Walmart to return it, I probably will and shoot for another model; however, the pamphlet says to contact the manufacturing company so I did. The company is sending me out a new housing part along with a new tension knob, but that does not solve the seating problem. The problem you have with returns is that they expect you to place everything back in the box and return it to the store, this is impossible when you have a 75 lb product. However, I have not been able to locate a number to Walmart to return this item. For $180.00 I would never recommend this bike to anyone.
Equipment arrived earlier than expected "Great". Arrived late on Friday. Unpacked and began to install. Display module (aka computer) had a broken wire. Attempted to call tech support. They had closed 10 minutes earlier. Numerous attempts on Monday to contact company failed. Automated voice system would not allow connecting to any extension and would default into circular loop every time number was called. Emailed and Faxed request for part replacement. It has been two weeks and no response. Mechanical part of cycle seems very durable but electronic system is very cheaply constructed. Support - unable to get any at this time
