My new 'bike' arrived today - just 1 day after it was ordered online from Walmart. Opening the box is a bit intimidating at first - lots of parts, lots of packing material to deal with, but not a problem. Assembly took about 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Everything went together perfectly and everything needed was in the box - including the few tools required. After it was all together I plugged it in, pushed the button, and to my glee -- it worked perfectly. Tomorrow morning is my first real workout on it. I expect it to be great, albeit sweaty, fun.

I've had it for two weeks now, and loving it. No matter the weather now I still get good exercise.

I found it easy to assemble, instructions ok but lacking detail. The icons on the display screen are too small to read. The instruction mentioned that there are different programs and lists them, but does not tell you what they do, or what icon they are. So it is try them and log what they do.

Really happy with the Exerpeutic 2000 High capacity Programmable Magnetic Recumbent Bike. One slight design flaw (could not see from picture) is the seat slides because tension handle does not hold well, better if pipe goes trough hole and will hold seat .

We purchased this machine for my parents. They were wanting a piece of equipment to use for excercise. They have limited mobility so needed something that was easy to get into and out of. This machine is perfect. There only a small stabilizer in the middle which they need to step over so this makes it really easy for them. Installation took about an hour. It was easy following the instructions.

If I try to use the electronic program, there is a buzzing sound in the front of the bike like a short in the wiring, so I don't use that feature. I find the seat very difficult to adjust...like the mechanism is stuck and my legs barely reach the pedals otherwise. Maybe when I get used to it......

Bought this model in July of 2017 and it was a relatively easy set up. It worked like a dream for about 3 months and I couldn't have been happier with the purchase. Unfortunately about two weeks ago (past the parts warranty) there was a clunking sound that began in the compartment that housed the flywheel. It was annoying and I tried to isolate it, but ultimately I decided that it was light enough to ignore. Well, as the days went on, the sound got worse and worse, until finally it was so loud that I couldn't hear anything else past it. It was a quick, repetitive sound that sounded like a mix between a squeak and a clunk and so I did some online troubleshooting. I didn't touch the unit but the consensus was that it was a faulty flywheel or pedals. Unfortunately given the parts warranty is only 3 months, it is no longer under warranty. And when I tried to simply work through the sound, suddenly there was a clunk in the machine and the resistance in the machine crapped out. There was no 1-7, only 8, and regardless of what I tried to do, it wouldn't leave Max resistance. I'm VERY disappointed with this product, likely as it had so much potential, but as this is the second Exerpeutic machine that has suddenly broken on me, I cannot in good faith recommend not only this product, but this company. Hundreds of dollars down the drain for only 3 months of use. Look for something else. Ultimately this product isn't worth it.
