USE IT FOR SMALL TREE REMOVAL. I WAS REALLY PLEASED AS IT LOOKS LIKE A NEW SAW CHAIN WAS STILL IN THE PLASTIC WRAP. SAW STARTED RIGHT UP
have'nt use it yet. will use it yet next week. the price was great. The shipping was very fast. I have three other Poulan products. A smaller chainsaw (14in bar), polesaw, hedge trimmer. no major problems with any of them .
The saw is awesome. Plenty of power and ready to go. The only con is the piece of crap chain that comes with the saw. It will not cut. Ditch the chain and buy a new Oregon chain from Amazon
I've had one for 3+ yrs now, enough to wear out a rim sprocket. (Parts are very inexpensive for this saw.) It's needed a bit of extra sealing around the air filter, and loctite on carb mt screws. It's a bit bulky and a bit heavy, You need Husqvarna carb tool (internal splines) to adjust carb, and fuel filler cap is "grabby". The K095-mount bar is an oddball, with 70 DL for 20" vice normal 72 DL. For the price, overall it's a steal. Strato scavenging means v.g. fuel endurance. AV is very good. If you keep tha chain sharp, it'll handle hickory with full bar engaged. It'll handle a 16" bar "authoritatively". Do a price-check on a stihl 260-series, then place your order for a PP5020. Just don't get hung up on the "Pro" stuff.
This is a well built chainsaw perfect for the homeowner. The saw was factory refurbished, but came to me packaged as if it was a new saw. There were very little signs of this saw being used previously. Out of the box I assembled the bar and chain per the included OEM operators manual, filled it with the proper gas/oil mix, and started it per the instructions. It took 3-pulls of the starter cord and it was running perfectly. THe saw has cut through a varity of fairly large oak, cherry, and locust without a problem! I am very pleased with the product and the price. VMinnovations was great and the saw was delivered in just 2-days! I will be a repeat customer.
I have been running chainsaws for 20+ years. I own 4 saws now. I recently purchased this refurbished Poulan 20"50cc..I love it. My first weekend I used it, I was greatly impressed. I ran it for over 12hrs in the first weekend, dropping four large oak trees. I own a H..Q..450, this Poulan out performed it. Reasons for outperforming; easy start cold and warm, the oiler was right on and had more torq. Although I believe the Hq manufactures the Poulan (not positive) the Poulan I received was very well tuned. 3 pulls to start out of the box, and when it was warm, half choke one pull, all day long. I wasn't worried that it wouldn't restart if i sat it down for a minute. The oiler went exactly through a tank of oil per fuel tank, which is how it should be. I would not hesitate to buy a refurbished Poulan, I may buy another just to have! The only thing I recommend is putting a new chain on it right away. I am not sure how it works for refurbished saws, but the chain seemed used and dull. I put a new chain on and this beast whacked through an 18" oak log in 20 seconds
Good all around saw for light to moderate use around farm or house. A little harder to start after a little use than your more expensive counter parts but for the price and with the extended service plan it really cant be beat for the money.
The Saw look's very used , i thought the add said reconditioned ?? This SAW was used alot. The chain is trashed , won't cut squat. Will need to buy a chain too. Never again will i buy anything but NEW.
Not refurbished! Put gas in. Won't start. Pull it apart to notice it's filthy. Components aren't functioning properly. Vwinovations is junk in my opinion. Will only buy new now after this. Already have the thing here and disassembled so may as well get the parts and fix it. Terrible purchase. Buy new y'all!
Don't waste your time buying reconditioned. I was sent the wrong bar and chain. Kind of a hassle getting it ready to ship back. Getting ready to buy new! :-)
