I am an "apple" shape, and I was worried when I read the other reviews. I had nothing to worry about because these jeans fit great. They are slightly tapered to the ankle; I would have prefered them to be straighter. I'm really glad to get a pair of jeans I like this much for the price paid!
I own about 25 pairs of jeans, everything from Walmart brands to $250 a pair and these are my absolute favorites ! PERFECT fit, true to size, flattering cut, dark denim shade makes them look like expensive designer jeans. I just bought 5 more pairs and would happily pay much more for these! Now that I have stocked up, get yours before they are gone! :) Honestly, the most comfortable and flattering jeans a plus size girl will find, at any price!
I don't mind paying for quality and style. I've spent a fortune on clothes, purses and shoes. I have bought designer clothing in many of my basic wardrobe pieces. However, when it comes to jeans, none of the designer jeans I've tried come close to the fit, weight, style, or quality of Faded Glory by WalMart. We plus sized gals like a bit of stretch (What's the use of looking good if you are uncomfortable!) and these have that. So why pay more when you can get great jeans for $14 that fit this well? I've bought Faded Glory jeans for a long time. I've never had a pair wear out. (Fade out after a lot of washings, but not wear out. By the way, turn them inside out to wash and they will hold their color much longer.) The reason I gave them four stars for fit, is because the black ones are always smaller than the blue denim ones.
the jeans that I purchased were excellent, the only thing that they are a little long, I am a short person so the inseam should be about 28, I think these are 29 or a little longer. I like the stretch denim, I would purchase another pair in the future. I highly recommend shopping online and picking the item up at the store, this item was not available in the store.
I am 58 yrs old. The blue jean generation. Easy as a teen to find the right ones. NOT that easy as an aging adult who still wants to look COOL in her jeans. There are NO jeans out there that fit like these do! Please believe me. I have tried them ALL. VERY slimming. The length and straight leg is so flattering. Not to heavy and a breeze to wash. The blk are so dressy and can go anywhere! Very comfortable fit. Three colors makes a nice variety. PLEASE do NOT stop making these! PLEASE! I have been telling everyone I know how great these jeans are. Keep up the GREAT work! Sheayey
I usually buy jeans that are pretty expensive, but I needed new jeans badly and didn't have the cash because of the holidays, so I bought these. I was quite surprised just how well they fit and that they came in different colors, sizes and lengths. I think that this is a great value for the money spent.
The past few years the trend with jeans has been super low rise and slim fit. This is fine if you are an apple figure type (straight/thin from the hips down-bigger up top) but not for curvy ladies. These jeans are PERFECT for hourglass and pear shaped figures! They are curvy through the buns, hips, and thighs, and are nipped in/tapered towards the waist. Forever it seems like jeans have been made for apples, and those of us with smaller waists and bigger hips have been left in the cold. These jeans are wonderful, well worth the value. I have purchased 3 pairs already-because they fit so well!! They are stylish as well-they are not low rise, but they are not above the belly button-they come up to just below the naval...which is a happy medium. They have a nice boot cut hemline...and they come in petite, average, and tall lengths in the store. Please Faded Glory/Wal-Mart-keep these jeans coming!!!! So many of us curvy gals need them!!!
I love these jeans. I bought the only pair on the rack. They're a little long (I bought the average size and I'm 5'9") but who cares they're less than 10 bucks !!!! I'm ordering 5 more pairs today !!!
I didn't want to spend a lot on jeans, so at less then $10 these were a great find. They fit well, and are very comfortable, not too tight at the waist like some jeans are. They look good! I plan to buy a few more pairs.
The front pockets are oddly shaped, extending from the opening to the zipper with little depth. No stitching around the button hole. Button hole already wearing.
