My husband bought me this for Christmas, so I've only used it about 2 months, but I really enjoy using it. It has had quite a workout. I have already given it a baptism of burnt food, and it came out sparkling clean with a scrubbing of soap, nylon sponge and elbow grease; and not a lot of that! We have an electric cooktop and the flat bottoms works beautifully on it. The aluminum clad bottoms on the pots heat the food evenly and quickly. I would recommend this product to any person who wants quality with economy.
I got these after years using T-fal. I was reluctant to get an aluminum set again (Alzheimer concerns) but nervous about getting a set without Teflon. I took a chance and glad I did. This set has the non stick fry pans but the others are stainless. I love them. No worries when it comes to clean up and cooking is fast and even. They look great. Plus they are dishwasher safe...a lot of the pretty news ones out are not.
I just moved in to my own place and was looking for a cheap set that I could use occasionally & this one is perfect. I'd been looking online at several different websites and was expecting to pay over 100$ for a decent set. I was wrong. I saw this in store and bought it on the spot. & I'm glad I did. They look great and I love the non-stick coating. Clean up is a breeze and cooking is even easier. I've used everything in the set except the bigger pot and they all work great. The lids are beautiful too.
We bought this set as a housewarming gift for my boyfriend's 18 year old daughter and her first apartment. She loved them! They look great and have all the important basic pots/pans that you need.
Me and wife choose this set because we have a hanging pot and pan rack in our kitchen and this is one of the first things you see as you walk in our house, after using these pans daily for two months they still look great, but we aways take time to clean them extra good after each use, a soapy wet sponge for the insides an sides an maybe a quick scruby on the bottom. all in all this is a great set for price an after two months the non -stick still looks like new. also note pan instructions no non-stick spray an never use over med.-high.
I cook on a regular basis and heavy usage. We got these pots for Christmas as a gift. I had tried a different nonstick pot set that I bought last christmas didnt even last 6 months by Faberware. These are stainless steel and are beautiful and have even heating. I was pleasantly suprised and feel for the money these pots are a good starter set for folks on a budget. The pots are weighty and feel like professional cookware. The pots maintain their beauty and wash well. O do not use a dishwasher so I cannot comment on that. Best value for the money in my opinion and would buy again.
I purchased this set last week in store! I am replacing my Paula Dean pots/pans with Farberware. I also loved the product but when Paula Dean came out with her line I figured it would be better quality! NO WAY! This is a beautiful set. In fact, Im going back to the store in hopes to purchase an additional set. I also plan on purchasing extra pieces online that are not offered in store. You will NOT be disappointed!
I love this 10 piece cookware. Its fits me because only have to cook for two people. The only thing is the 10 inch skillet with top. Not big enough to cook alot of food. I would only recommed this product with people with smalll families to cook for. It all fit in my cabinet. I really love it. It really easy to clean to.
The skillets are wonderful, nothing sticks to them, and they have lasted for over a year with me. But the pots are bad... EVERYTHING sticks to them, it doesn't matter if you put oil in the water, spray the pot with notstick pray everything sticks, and then it stains the bottom of the pots. I wouldn't recomend this set for anyone who cooks alot of pasta.
There is a dark grey substance drooling down the outside of the pans after they are put on the stove and heated up. I have never seen anything like this before and I am returning them today. I could not email the faberware company direct. I assume this is some kind of insulation product but it is nasty looking. I do not recommend this product.
