Cooks very well when used as directed. We tried it using medium heat on our electric range as the directions recommended. We were surprised to find that, although it took a little longer to heat up, once it did, it cooked as fast and as well as we were used to doing with our old cookware using a higher heat. We are not certain about the long term durability, because we have not had it long. Our past with Farberware has always been positive, however.
I actually purchased these a few years ago. I cook with them and nothing ever, ever sticks! If you should burn any food while preparing it, the food still literally slides out. If anything is stuck, ie...cheese, it washes away with soap and water. They have a good weight behind them and cook evenly. I absolutely love them! My niece was so impressed with their appearance ( I have the red ) and how they cook, that she asked for a set for Chistmas. I know she will enjoy preparing meals with these skillets.

Very happy with with these set of pans.I have a glasstop stove,i guess not recomended ,I do how ever make sure not to use them on high heat.Hopefully the nonstick will last awhile,I guess time will tell.
these really are professional grade pans. My husband and I love them and we use them everyday several times. Just remember to follow directions and do not use soap or metal utensils on pan.
The original order arrived damaged, but after contacting CS, a new order was sent. These are absolutely the best pans. I buy from QVC and their pans always leave marks from my electric stove on the bottom. These do not! They cook evenly, hold their temperature and the cleaning is great. I'm only sorry I didn't get more of this brand and type before I got any other kind.
