I bought this for a Cal King. I wash everything before I use it. I followed the instructions exactly. No problems with washing or drying. It doesn't mention that there are actually 2 zippers. I used the inner one for my 12 inch memory foam and 2 inch topper. The other zipper is for mattresses, like maybe 15 inches and up. Works great!
This cover was purchased to protect the mattress pad we also purchased. It was easy to put on and covers the mattress and 4' pad very well. Great price and quality.
This is actually a really great encasing! I thought it would be hard or too tight or plasticy or noisy but it is not! It's a soft material on the outside and a waterproof laminating on the inside. My mattress is about 17 1/2" thick and this one has spare space inside still so it shouldn't rip or anything. The box spring encasements that come seperate are not so great though. I recommend getting two of these. One for mattress one for box spring if you have a California king like I do.
The cover is very large and was able to go over our mattress and our additional pillow top that we have on the bed and still had room. Very nice idea that the top has a zipper. Very easy to take off and wash. So far seems to be helping with allergies.
