the Inspirion 2320 is everthing I expected from a Dell computer. I was not sure that I need a 23" computer screen but I am totally happy with it. I am using both touch screen and mouse. It was very easy to setup and loaded software was excellent. At this point I do not have any Cons for this machine.
I ran into zero problems setting up the PC and after using it for about 100 hours, there have been no glitches. This was purchased as a gift for my wife, and I was afraid it might have too large a screen - however, the weekend after installation, four family members were standing around it using satellite maps and ogling over our photos, so a 23" screen is not too big! Ours came with wireless keyboard and mouse and we have used the keyboard like you would use a remote control on a TV to step through the photos, for example. The touch screen is very handy, and newer programs are designed for it so I would strongly recommend it if you are undecided - remember, you can still use your mouse if you really want to. I feel this is an excellent product; I have been buying Dell products for nearly 10 years and have yet to see a Dell component fail. My company uses Dell as well and have machines approaching 15 years old that still work reliably.
I'm a senior programmer. I spend many many hours in front of a computer. Often times, I need to do programming in Linux. I hate developing and debugging code in virtual machines. I got the Core i7 8GB RAM Inspiron One 2330. It's my first All-in-One from Dell Online. What I liked: * It works VERY WELL with Ubuntu 12.04.1 64-bit Linux (webcam, wireless NIC, wireless keyboard and mouse, keyboard sleep) * All-in-One form factor is very clean * All-in-One form factor makes moving the machine really easy. * Love the VGA-input, VESA mounting Feedback: * Display is certainly adequate, given the price point. I would have liked (and paid) to have an IPS display option in the 23" form factor. I know the XPS models have better displays, but there were no XPS All-in-One 23" models. Some kudos goes to the engineers who designed the power supply into the unit, not relying on those huge power bricks. Well done guys!
We needed to replace an old Toshiba laptop and an ancient Dell desktop. This product will do everything that I need to do for work as my primary need is to do Quickbooks or remote into our office. The speed is terrific and the entire system was set up by my 11-year old. Very happy!
Purchased top of the line for my husband. He has Parkinson's and i thought the touch screen might help him but he couldn't adjust to the new computer (or his smart phone) so he gave it to me. I am a former programmer and aerospace designer. I find the machine to be fast. I don't use the touch screen much because I find the position awkward and would love to lay it down to use. I DO NOT USE LAPLINK to transfer files. I tried it once on a different and Norton 360 showed over 200 registry errors. Now I install the software on any new computer and copy my files with a Terabyte External Hard Drive. I do high end, high resolution graphics using Adobe Master Suite and it renders faster than any other computer that I have used. My husband is a musician and I am also a sound engineer. With the right software, again Adobe, the CDs we have produced are awesome. I run Norton 360 which prevents both viruses and spyware. If you have a problem it is most likely related to software or user inexperience. Most likely using Laplink to transfer files and software. I am running Windows 7 Professional with the 64 bit operating system.
I've been wanting an all in one touch screen PC, and this one meets my expectations and then some! I don't do gaming, but have a home office, and this computer is all I need. The speed is fine, love the touch screen, and space saving features it offers. For normal office functions, I highly recommend it, but cannot comment on the gaming piece, if that is what you are looking for.
I'm an IT guy so experienced with evaluating computers for a large enterprise. I have had this PC for three months and I could not be happier with my choice. The touch screen works great although twice I have experienced the touch screen to stop functioning. A reboot and all was good. Both occasions occurred within the first two weeks of owning. No problems since. It came with Windows 8 Home and upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. No problems with the upgrade. This is a fairly heavy PC and have it mounted on the wall in my kitchen with a cantilever wall mount. One of two complaints I have with this is when not using the Dell stand. Using any other mount requires the mount cover to be removed and does not look as clean and professional without the cover. My second complaint is the PC speakers. Definitely do not like playing music through them so will hide a bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.
This computer is excellent. The 23" screen is amazing. I have never had a computer work this great for me. It comes with all the latest features like, touch screen, voice activation, windows 7, microsoft office and a lot more. This computer is fast and very efficient. I highly recommend it.
I primarily use this system to develop software using visual studio 2012. Pros Nice slim design takes up minimal space i7 Processor handles everything i throw at it extremely quiet Cons The display is very disappointing. It pixelates when watching video or when moving the mouse or screen quickly. One of the main reasons I bought this was for the 1080p HD display. I would think twice before purchasing if you want a crisp, clean picture.
This computer in the beginning worked very good. After the first 9 months it gave me nothing but problems. It randomly shuts down, the screen goes black or freezes. Its to the point, I cant even handle my online classes or work from my computer. This is my 3rd computer from Dell over the past 9-10 years. As of today, I'm no longer a Dell customer.. If you choose to purchase the Inspiron 2305, all I can say is GOOD LUCK !!!
