I find my Samsung S4 has a very convenient operating system. I am 68 yrs old and would not trade my S4 for any I-phone. I can't wait until I can get the new S7!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, I admit, I'm a Samsung junkie!! Swype is what got me hooked because one couldn't Swype with an iPhone. Mind you this was YEARS ago! Not only that, the phone is efficient, responsive, effective, and the list goes on! I've owned a Samsung now for several years and I'm very eager for the release of the Note 6 this summer. I hear amazing things are happening. The phone is easy to reset if needed though I've only done that once mostly because I just wanted a clean slate.. Love that I can easily block calls, manage my files, move things around. Oh and there are not enough words to describe how awesome the camera is! I do professional photography and sometimes, I get my best shots with my phone. CRAZY!
I bought for my wife on her birthday and she loves it! she has had NO troubles with it, yes it took a little time to get used to it but now she is using it like she has had it for 10yrs, it takes really great photos, it is very clear sound and the voice texting is great, just speak and it does all work! she is still learning some of the features but overall its a great phone, we would and have recommended it to all our family members and friends!
I Love my Samsung! This is the best phone I have ever owned. It's very easy to use with lots of features and apps already installed. I have tried and cannot wait to get the galaxy 5. THANK YOU SAMSUNG, JAY Z , KANYE, SXSW2014 for bringing one of the most EPIC concerts ever, the phone paid it's self with this perk. We also purchased a Samsung smart TV and will be buying a tablet soon. We are forever Samsung loyal.
It was a spontaneous race to find a certain restaurant. She actually started first by asking Siri for a pub in a certain town. After I heard her ask Siri again, I decided to just use the Google function on my Galaxy and within seconds, I had the restaurant along with its rating and directions. Siri was still trying to understand my friend's request when I showed her my results and she confirmed I had found the right restaurant. I love the larger screen and the easy to understand uses and applications. I would like to have a screen that is easier to view in bright sunlight one day.
First of all the camera in the phone is fantastic it takes the best pictures , my friends want me to take the pictures and email or message them to them. The ease of using all the great features. The touch screen, the apps, the gps. The phone is fantastic.
It really is a very nice phone. Great talk-time, easy as pie to navigate, and powerful enough to play a game when your board in line at the store. My dog had a nice little bite on it, broke the screen and digitizer, I can not get my personal information off the phone because it's locked and will not transfer content or see to unlock it. I waited to long to register with Samsung so now I'm out of luck unless I replace the screen and digitizer. So Far yet so far away. :(
i would say its one of the best phones build at that time. performance A+ stability A+ reliability A+ durability B+ options of customization (there is no end) dislikes: while using Google maps its overheats with each update getting more locked (means customization goes down, cant do what ever owner wants to. i would say becoming like an iphone "use only") its one of the nightmare for Samsung. just want to be clear, locking devices is by Verizon request. not a Samsung fault we should be able to have boot-loader unlocked or at least an option to downgrade the software. there an issue with 5.0 update. it has a power management bug. it will power off the device and wont let u turn it on. easy fix is to pull the battery and hold power button for a 1 min and then put battery back and its ON again :) my recommendation is after "owners" paid off their devices they should be able to own that device. by getting boot-loader unlocked. that means people will have an option to fully discover capability and customization of the device and be able to appreciate even more Samsung products
I love this phone. The photos are so realistic and have great quality. Every time my friends and I take pictures they always want to use my phone. I love the swiping during texts, Very fast and convenient. It is great size not to big, but love the bigger phones.
I have used all the power-saving options, dimmed my display so I can barely see it, and TRIED to remove some of the applications that auto-populated (and are annoying) on my screen---especially the "S-Memo" thing, which is huge. Every time I try to disable an app, it gives me a data removal warning! I just want my emails, without bells & whistles notifications, and an occasional Facebook update--no noises with that! I also text frequently. Another problem I have is that the ringtones lack volume---they're just not loud enough coming from the phone's speaker. With a Bluetooth, they're fine; but maximum volume control on the device is really not loud at all! I wish all these crazy applications would just go away! And I wish there was an extended life battery, or preferably a solar charging case---which this device obviously needs!
