I bought this since we do not have a tree for shade in our yard and now the sun does not shine in my little guys eyes. Easy to use and adjust.
As a mom and home daycare provider, our visor gets a lot of use out of it. This is my second time to purchase one, our first one lasted a year before the fabric ripped and no longer held the wire frame in. This is a life saver if your child loves swinging!
In order to get adequate shade, the shad itself must be right above the child. I bought these shades for some baby swings that have ropes that taper in. Unlike the picture, the baby swings' ropes are narrower at the bottom than the top and if the shade comes too close together, it will try and fold in on itself. It will still do an ok job providing shade, but it does not sit as nicely as the picture shows.
I think this product is a good idea! I bought two of them for my 1 and 3 yr old. However it didn't work very good for blocking the sun :( if I hadn't thrown the boxes away I would have returned them.
