I had been looking for a chocolate brown tufted headboard and all I found was out of my price range. I happened to stumble upon this queen headboard for $59.00. When it was delivered, the little bitty box it came in stunned me. whoever designed this headboard is brilliant. Simple assembly, cost effective, it looks great, and the unexpected bonus is you can change your color scheme. I love this headboard and would suggest to anyone to purchase one. Thanks Walmart!
I was so pleased when I got this headboard together. It was such easy assembly, only 5 metal tubes that slip together, and the tufted cover that goes over the top and velcros into place! I had four carrage bolts that came with nuts and they attached the headboard to the bed with no problem. I was worred the holes might not line up, but the worry was for nothing, they matched up great. I love the look. I think the price is unbeatable for the quality. It looks just like a much more expensive one and I'm so happy I went with this $55 dollar option. Hope you enjoy the photos. I find them to most helpful when I am making a buying decision! Trust me I don't think you'll be disappointed. One person had said that the headboard was too high, but I found it to be just right. I have already recommended this to my mom. She loves it!
I purchased this so that I could use it to make a custom fabric headboard for my 12 year old daughter. It was super easy to assemble. It was easy then to cover it with a floral fabric by making a slip cover. The only downside is that the head board does not fit as snug to the bed as I would like. It is just a tad wobbly but over all perfect for what I wanted it for--an easy inexpensive way to make a custom fabric headboard without having to cut plywood and staple foam to it!
While it's true that I don't love this headboard, I am at least fine with it. The upholstered headboard I really wanted was several thousand dollars which was definitely out of my price range. I bought this headboard as a temporary fix while I save for the one I actually want. It arrived sooner than I expected and was incredibly easy to set up (aprox. 5 minutes). I didn't have any of the issues with tearing that any of the other reviewers experienced. The color is a true "oatmeal", and while I wish that there was more tufting between the buttons, it is perfectly acceptable for the price I paid.
I did not expect this headboard to come in pieces, maybe I didn't read the description...but you click the metal frame together and then slide the fabric slip cover over. We are using it for our guest room and it is just perfect for that. I would probably not use it for everyday use because it is not very sturdy. **I gave it only 1 star on Features because ee had a hard time attaching it to the bedframe. The holes didn't line up quite right, but we got it! Oh, and you have to buy your own nuts and bolts for attaching...
This headboard is $50. Remember that. The assembly took about 5 minutes. The hardest part is getting the fabric "tent" over the frame. It is TIGHT. Once it's on though, it's perfect. It has to be tight so it won't sag. You'll want to iron it when it comes out of the box. Resist that urge. A) it doesn't iron well and B) you won't need to once it's stretched over the frame. You will need to supply the nuts and bolts to secure it to your frame. The frame is decently sturdy; I wouldn't jump on it, but if handled carefully I think it will last a long time. As for the comments that it isn't padded, they must have changed the design. The set I received is nicely padded and is quite comfy. Overall - It's a really great piece especially for the price.
It's definitely the least expensive upholstered headboard I could find. Easy set up! It does come rolled up like the other review mentioned, but when you slip it over the metal bars the wrinkles smooth out instantly! Doesn't have the kind of cushion I was hoping for, but it LOOKS nice! Also, hardware was not provided, so my husband had to get creative.
Its not exelent quality but it's good for the price, I like it and specially super easy to set up, I did it in 3 minutes .
I bought this item because I thought it was a great deal and it looked very appealing. Well when I went to the store to pick it up, I was expecting a long and heavy box but in reality the associate walked out with a very small box and when I got it home I realized that it was not all one piece and you had to put it together with cheap metal rods through a piece of suede fabric.... Pretty disappointed. I really think the description should say how it comes because this for sure is not what I thought I ordered.....
looks better, comfortable less. foam is thin and it needs to be leaning against a wall because it is not thick and stable enough. there is no screws to attach it to the actual bed frame. it has to be leaning against a wall. when it is then visually it looks ok.
