Great item and helped relieve back pain!
Why is this required, when it says (optional)? Product is very well built, adaptable to different sized people (taller, shorter), easy to attach to the chair, comfortable and supports the lower and mid back.
This backrest is very comfortable. It feels good and as I have back issues, this really helps me sit longer and I don't feel as if I'm not supported in the lower back area. I'm glad I purchased it.
We've tried many styles and models and the Fellowes Pro Series is the best by far. It stays in place, where you want it with very little fuss.

Sadly the company i work for doesn't provide us with decent working or comfortable equipment to sit in our cubes all day. suffering from lower back pain by the chair i have i needed something to help alleviate my work day. I sit at a desk all day and It really seems to improve my posture. The product is very comfortable and it helps to remind you to sit up straighter.
The product works; I needed to revise the "back support" to fit the chair I was using. Be sure to check all measurements before buying.
My sister recommended another back support product. While it worked for her, my husband had a problem with it sliding up and down his chair. With this particular back support, the multiple elastic straps help keep the back support in place much better. Currently I am using it at work to see how it works. I am short and often find myself leaning forward on the PC, not having any support for my back. This product has really helped support my back while I am sitting for long periods of time in front of a PC.
