I don't have many items that need protecting so I wondered why I agreed to try these laminating pouches and give a review. I had already laminated my important papers so what was left? Then it hit me, my recipes. Over the years, I have collected many recipes that have turned into favorites. I was always having to make new copies when the old ones became too messy to read. With these laminating pouches, I was able to protect new copies from messy fingers for years to come. If I drop batter or whatever on them, I can easily wipe if off. Fellowes makes very good laminating pouches which are great for protecting everything important..and delicious.

The pouches are water resistant and wipe clean to remove smudges and erasable marker notes. The unique directional quality mark for laminating, disappears completely when use correctly. Fellows Thermal pouches also provide excellent clarity, durability, and an air tight seal. The thermal pouches can be used not just for business purposes, but for protecting professional and home projects, reusable lists, i.e.: study notes, reference notes, calendars, check lists, and so much more. Since the pouches are water resistant and wipe clean, they can be used many times over for repeatable tasks. My primary usage revolves around photography. The "Fellowes Laminating Pouches - Letter, ImageLast, 5 mil, 50 pack", allow me to preserve photos, plus, with the ImageLast UV protection, they are "captured for life". The worry of the photos fading with age does not factor into the equation. I also make check lists that allow me to take them into the field and not have to worry about their deterioration, when exposed to the elements. As Walmart Spark Reviewer, the products I review are tested by my use and then evaluated in this review, for the consumer to use as a guide when purchasing the product. These evaluations are based on my usage and results. I want the consumer to be well informed, prior to spending their money on any of the products I evaluate. After using this product, I would definitely recommend it with full "5 star" rating. It is tough and durable, easy to use, and reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend. The pouches are packaged 50 pouches to a box and have a thickness 50 mil. They are rugged, stay stiff and are durable. On the package back, "Fellows" provides an online link to their "Idea Center". By visiting their Idea Center, there are downloadable and printable "templates" available at no cost to the consumer.
These Fellowes laminating pouches paired with the Fellowes laminating machine make for a perfect outcome for any laminating project. They work perfect for everyday laninating projects. My most recent project was to make up some reminders and check-off lists for my elderly Mother so she can be reminded of when to take her medicines and when to do her daily chores. Having these things laminated really helps her to keep everything in order and completed on time. I have also used these pouches for making permanent NO HUNTING and NO TRESPASSING signs for my small acreage to help inform local deer hunters that hunting is not permitted on my property. The laminated signs last a long time and are not affected be adverse weather conditions. The uses for these laminating pouches are only limited by your imagination! I would highly recommend Fellowes products to anyone who needs a high quality laminating system.
I received Fellowes Thermal Laminating Pouches free from Walmart Spark Reviewer in exchange for an honest review. These are definitely premium materials that provide excellent clarity and durability. They are easy to use and work great with cardboard stock or even thinner paper. The finished product comes out very shiny and solid. I have used these for everyday documents, such as my apartment lease, medical records and ID cards. I have not encountered any bubbles or wrinkles. I have used these laminating pouches for recipe cards and take-out menus. They are great for printed digital photos or flash cards. The laminating pouches can also be used in business. I belong to a charitable organization. I use the pouches for laminating business cards, flyers, signs, charts, and contact lists. The edges come out tightly sealed and are very sturdy, so they hold up well. I am extremely pleased with the results of all of my laminating projects. I would absolutely recommend the Fellowes Thermal Laminating Pouches to anyone.
The Fellowes Laminating Pouches - Letter, ImageLast, 5 mil are absolutely the best pouches I have ever used. I have been Laminating for twenty years and used all kinds of pouches, but these are by far the best I have used to date. They preserve the pictures and they look as clear as glass. I laminated my picture and framed it and it looks perfect just like it is. It is simple to use and flows through the Laminating Machine very nice and easy. They seal right up to the edges of the picture and leaves a very professional look to your work. I was eager to try the Fellowes Brand Laminating pouches with my Scotch Brand Thermal Laminator. These pouches were thicker than the ones I had purchased for my laminator; however, there was a setting to accommodate the thicker pouches. I rarely laminate an entire 8.5 X 11 inch document, but I could with these pouches with room to trim. These pouches were easy to open to place the objects to be laminated inside. When I closed the pouch to insert into the laminator, the papers did not move. In this case I was laminating a couple of paper documents that I would need carry in my purse or wallet. The result was exactly what I wanted with no bubbles or unsealed areas that were easy to trim to wallet size.
I received this product from Walmart Spark Reviewer free of cost for my honest review. I am the membership director of a medical management group and I have the task of printing name tags and signage for our meetings. I have a lot of experience with laminating products and I am quite impressed with Fellowes brand laminating pouches. I usually use 10 mil pouches for my projects, but these 5 mil have just about the same quality as the 10 mil. The finished product is quite professional looking and I have used them not only for the medical management group signage, I have used them for our medical office to make signs for health issues for patients and personnel reminders. These are a good quality laminating pouch as some pouches I have used in the past have had issues with curling once laminated. These stay smooth and straight. They are easy to use and, as stated, the finished product is very professional. They actually look like signage you would normally purchase pre-laminated. These are very hand for many small projects, and you are not limited to the letter size, you can laminate smaller sized signs and just cut the edges. I am very happy with these pouches from a professional and personal standpoint and I would recommend them.
This 5 mil 9x11.5 Fellowes laminating sheet is VERY PROFESSIONAL, STURDY, HIGHLY PROTECTIVE with a HI-GLOSS!. This is HI-QUALITY with HI-QUALITY RESULTS! The 5 mil has a greater strength for protection than lesser mil. and with the "Image Last" (w/UV protection), the document or photo is "CAPTURED FOR LIFE!". The 5 mil is a lot heavier than the 3 mil (like used for professional ID badges). IF you have any important cherished documents, certificates, photographs and/or artwork you want to protect from disintegration, fading, tearing, etc., this is the perfect laminating sheet to purchase. I had been using 3 mil for multitudes of documents. However, after using the 5 mil, I REALIZED I NEED BOTH 3mil & 5mil IN STOCK. There are some items not as precious that don't require a more sturdy laminate (i.e., most-called phone list, recipes, pkg delivery note, etc) HAVING BOTH 3mil and 5mil IS A GOOD IDEA and VERY HELPFUL! Currently in my childhood home, I have been fortunate to obtain and laminate numerous old 1940s documents that had faded to yellow and some even torn. They were the original house deed, original survey, plat, etc. from '40s. IT'S SUCH A RELIEF TO KNOW THEY'RE SAVED! As you will see in my photos, I used the 5 mil for a baby photograph (60+ yrs old), a wedding photograph (47 yrs old) and my father's WWII honorable discharge document (65 yrs old). It is so satisfying to know they are now protected from any fading or damage. I also laminated an old grocery store ad from Sept. 1964 which shows 3lbs Pork Chops:$1~2 Loaves Bread:39 cents~Baby Food 5 Cents~Cigarettes $2.59 ctn, etc. Old Ads like this are PRICELESS! And, think of all the HISTORICAL HAPPENINGS you can preserve! Laminating Uses are LIMITLESS! You have the ability to protect signs for re-use, such as "For Sale," "Exit", etc. You can protect favorite sketches, precious child artwork, etc. I've even used it in my card-making. Again, there are SO MANY USES for lamination. It' also important to note that these items can still be scanned after lamination. I am SO PLEASED to have tried out these heavier 5 mil sheets. It truly opens up the ability to laminate ESPECIALLY PRECIOUS PHOTOGRAPHS & DOCUMENTS with complete confidence. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these 5 mil Fellowes Thermal Laminating pouches! 1) You can TRUST them and 2) You will have the satisfaction the photograph or document is PROTECTED FOREVER! I have received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion and review. All opinions are mine alone. I have used several different brands of laminating pouches in the past and if you laminate things for personal use I would say go with the least expensive brand as there is not a significant difference in the quality of any of the pouches I have used. However, if you are laminating for business I would definitely suggest using the fellows brand as they are a great price and they are noticeably thicker than the other pouches on the market. I had no problems with bubbles, distortion, smears, and no unusual odors when using Fellows pouches. I typically use laminating pouches for personal use such as scrapbooking and laminating flash cards or game pieces for my grandkids to make the pieces more durable. I've also printed out worksheets and laminated them with a cardboard backing and then had the kids practice using dry erase markers as this enables me to save paper as they are used over and over again. The kids really enjoy this. I would highly recommend Fellows Laminating Pouches for the do-it-yourselfer, teacher, artist, business person, etc. A really great product!
This is not what I expected it to be. I thought it was small laminating sheets. I didn't know that you had to have a laminating machine to use these and I do not have a laminating machine. I thought it was laminating sheets that you could use without a laminating machine. You need a laminating machine to use these.
