Does an excellent job laminating business cards, ID cards, newspaper articles or any paper item that I've tried so far. Also, down loaded family pictures I've been sent in emails and preserved those to carry in my wallet.
I would recommend this to anybody who need to laminate something. I used to have to leave my home and pay expensive charges to have it done.
I love how easy this laminator is to use and how well it works. Pages come out clean and clear and are easy to feed. It even laminates cardboard cutouts. The release lever is a great function that a lot of laminators do not have. If something gets stuck it can easily be removed-without the release lever you would risk damaging the machine if you were to try and remove it
Good to make neat clean products, once laminated color is bright, good for our uses, laminating kids projects, making placemats, ect. , quick, cheaper than others, not water-proof don`t know if any laminations are though,
For around $20. this is the best laminator I've ever owned. It laminates quickly with a great tight seal. It's compact but also uses a standard letter sized laminating sheet. I would definately say it's way surpasses it's cheap price!
I had never used or owned a laminator before, but needed one for homeschooling projects. After reading reviews, this seemed to be a good product. I've used it several times now and I love it! I would suggest getting 5mm sheets instead of 3mm if you want thicker lamination.
I like everything about this, except that it did not come with very many lamination sheets. It is perfect for small jobs and pictures. It will save important documents and children's artwork easily. I lost some priceless decorations made by my daughter when the basement flooded, but I will not have to worry anymore.
Bought this laminator for use at our Clubhouse. We are now able to make our own signs and laminate any forms that need to be preserved. It has been money well spent! Much less than competitors but does the job just as well.
I unfortunately received a laminator which had a bad drive wheel. So the hot sticky plastic got stuck in the laminator, and I lost a document with it. I returned the laminator very easily at the local store (you can return things by mail too), with no hassles and no questions. I chose to replace it with a Scotch brand laminator that was being sold in-store. I'm sure that my experience with this laminator was an isolated issue, and it's a great full-size laminator for a budget price. Laminating at home is cool. I sell Avon and make all my own signage. Laminating lessens color fading and preserves documents and photos in good condition permanently. It's worth doing, and this is a nice laminator for light usage (hardcore scrapbookers might want a sturdier model.) And I'm thoroughly impressed with the returns procedure for Walmart.com purchases.
The first time I use it, it "ate" the insert. Nothing came out. The material I inserted melted inside. I am returning it today and will never buy a product from this manufacturer. The old adage "you get what you pay for" holds very true in this case. Junk, Junk, Junk.
