The Eric Johnson Stratocaster Maple boasts a light, two-piece alder body featuring '57-style body contours and cavities for that classic Strat comfort. Available in Black, White Blonde, and classic 2-Color Sunburst, the Eric Johnson Stratocaster Maple comes dressed in a thin, authentic-style nitro lacquer finish that will age and wear over time just as they did in the old days while allowing the wood to breathe for beautiful sound. Crafted to EJ's preferred specs, the quartersawn maple neck sports a cozy '57-style soft "V" profile, and perfect for note bends without fretting out, the maple 'board sports a flatter 12" radius instead of the more curved vintage-spec 7.25" radius or the modern 9.5" radius. Giving this a genuine old-school aesthetic, the neck wears a nitro lacquer finish with a vintage tint. The neck also comes equipped with a vintage-style butt adjust truss rod and a genuine bone nut. Designed to EJ's exacting specifications, the Eric Johnson Stratocaster comes equipped with a set of three specially-voiced Eric Johnson single-coil pickups with countersunk mounting screws that were made with discerning tone seekers like EJ in mind. The electronics include a Master Volume control, two Tone controls (one for neck pickup, one for bridge pickup), and versatile 5-way switching instead of the old-style 3-way switching.
