It is easier to digest. I like that it is time release as well..
The only iron that I can take without ruining my digestion. Keeps my levels good. Excellent price & free delivery, great!
This is the only iron that I can take. Its gotten very expensive, but I have to take it. I would hope they would think to lower the price a little bit.
Just what i needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My husband has to take four iron tablets a day for severe anemia. He was told by his doctor that Feosol Natural release caplets were reportedly (by other patients) easier on the stomach than other iron tablets. He's been taking them for about two months now and they have worked well for him.
I used to have low iron levels even when taking iron supplements but have never been diagnosed anemic. However, whenever I tried to donate blood (local blood bank) my levels were too low to donate. My doctor recommended elemental iron as its most absorbable. Ive taken this a year now with no side effects and have had normal iron levels ever since.
This came doctor recommended for anemia years ago and I have always taken this product since and have never had a prob;em with anemia again and the formulation is very good.
The typical iron supplement is ferrous sulfate. It probably works for most people. However, for two anemic people I know it was not good enough to reach recommended blood levels. They both tried the Feosol Carbonyl Iron and it has been doing the job for more than two decades.
My wife has been using Feosol (carbonyl iron ) for over 20 years. Should be in store ( it once was) thanks foe having it on line.
This is the accepted supplement for iron deficiency. An important side effect is possible constipation. Do not use unless your Hematologist recommends the supplement and the dosage. It is much lower cost than Slow Fe and they are identical dosage.
