i was waiting for this game to came out since july 2007. i think its kinda' hard to control in the wii version, the more you play the more you get used to it & everything comes easy as you play it, but the wii version i would think of it as a " childrens version", its just so childish, the graphics, the color, the scheme. i hope that the PS3 & Xbox360 its better. still like it a lot, but not exactly what i was expecting
Great bargain for kids with a Wii. They loved the game.
We bought this for our 8 yr old son for Christmas and he LOVES it, of course he loves soccer. He mastered it within an hour. He woke me up from my Christmas day nap screaming that he won. He was so excited. Now my husband had a difficult time changing/playing the different guys, but the only thing I can come up with and with what the PP said, is that maybe adults try to hard. Be a kid for a second :D
I would highly recommend this product. I got this for my Daughter for Christmas and she has played soccer on and off for 6 years. She is 10 and loves this game.
It takes some getting use to for children because of the control issues with the remote but overall great game. My son loves it.
I think this is a great game..the gameplat at the begginig is a little weird but later its simplel..graphics are awesoome and the minigames of ronaldinho are cool..!
This game must be played with both controllers. One controller is not fun but allows beginners a chance to play without frustration. The game takes a while to get used to the controls and you cannot master the different moves quickly unless you are a 10 year old boy. Playing from the top half of the screen is much more difficult than the bottom half. Many clubs to choose from and the soccer academy training section helps you learn the moves.
Not recommended for younger players.
My son has been hearing about Fifa '08 from his friends and couldn't wait to get it for his wii. My younger son has it for his PSP and loves the game. We purchased it and he starting playing and it has almost NONE of the features it has on PS3 or Xbox and any other console. He said that even his little brothers PSP game was better than on the Wii! According to friends (and his soccer coach) there are moves for juggling, and doing different tricks with it and that is not available on the Wii. So if you have a different system then maybe it would be a great game to buy ~ Just DON'T buy it for the Wii! Your child will be just as disappointed as my son, and it is extremely frustrating when you paid $50 for a game and then your kid doesn't like it. To no fault of his own, he heard it was great, just didn't know the Wii system would not have the same features as the other systems!
waste of time... even if you are a soccer fan - the action & controls are painful. move along to something better.
