I've used these for years. Honestly, I'm not sure how one would calculate its efficiency other than looking at how well it's made. If comparing these filters to the cheaper ones, you can see a difference .
I started buying these in place of the standard filters my apartment provided. It made a significant difference in the amount of dust landing all over my apartment. I'm grateful for the better air quality.

This item was maybe incorrect put in or just simply just messed up
I ordered the wrong size ac filter. Should I bring it back to the store. I needed a 20x20x1. Also, I did not, to my knowledge order 2 spong mop heads.
Filter is not durable. It crumpled up inside the A/C unit. CHEAP! Not what I would expect from 3M.
I ordered four avocados and only got two. When the groceries are put in my trunk, I always have grocery tote bags open and ready for the groceries. Every single week the groceries are put in an open area of the trunk to avoid the tote bags. Why aren't the people who are loading the trunk educated that our bags are to be filled, not pushed to the side?
The new design is AWEFUL! Look at the photos here. The filter was perfectly formed when installed. As soon as the AC turned on, the filter frame just started to collapse and bend. When I felt these things I just knew it was going to be trouble so I am happy I monitored it. I put the old filter in and immediately made this review to warn others. I just purchase my year supply (18) of these filters for my 3 AC Units and now I have to return them as they are JUNK!
We purchased these filters thinking they were the usual well made product; however, after 1 month of use the filter had basically collapsed. Advertised as being good for 3 months, we could not have been more disappointed. Definitely not worth buying!
