I have tried different air filters twice as much in cost and didn't work on the odor. Being a pet owner you just need this filter ! Works even beyond the time it states ! Love it
i have two litter boxes in my basement and the filter stops any odors from blowing through the vents to the main floor

I bought my Odor Reduction Filtrete filter because I do smoke in my home and I have a dog. My home is new and I am particularly concerned about keeping my air conditioning system performing at top-notch performance, while keeping the air clean-smelling as well. I am greatly pleased with Filtrete's lineup of filters but the Odor Reduction filter is by far a great filter in performing a great job at capturing dust, smoke and other allergens and keeping them there and the filter, instead of further circulating them throughout the system and my home. This is the first time I've tried this model. I have been having the dirty sock smell coming from air return the last month. I was told that I might have to install a UV light in my unit to eliminate this ordor, which was going to cost quite a bit. So I was replacing the filter after 2 weeks and happen to see this model Odor remover and allergin removal and decided to give it a try before contacting my heat and air guy to install the uv product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Filtrete Odor Reduction Air Filter in my Kitchen/Living area. It definitely makes a difference in the air freshness and is the best type of filter for this area.
My family teases me because I am always following smells. My nose works very well. After about a week with the Filtrete Odor Reduction I noticed a big difference in our home. My husband even commented that I hadn't been so nosey (ha) lately. We will definitely be purchasing and using this filter from now on!
Been using for 2 months now I have to say can see much better air quality I use 20×30×1 and have a pretty good size unit would guarantee it to anyone who hasn't tried
A little pricey but seems to be working at removing musty smell
I purchased this product a month ago and I don't notice any changes but the need to change filter already. Not worth the price especially when needing to replace filter after 3 weeks of usr when package says last up to 3months.
