You simply insert these in the filter and before you know it the entire house smells super clean and fresh. I really like that the instructions are clear and that you can remove more strips from the back to boost the scent! I have to give kudos to the scent itself - it's just the right amount of fragrance and smells like clean linen. Will definitely purchase more of these and I like the scent so much I thought about buying some additional for our mudroom and coat closet!
I love the scent and to gave it go thru out the house withiut me having to walk thru spraying all the rooms or spraying it in the air intake. This covers the entire home every time the heat or air comes on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the Filtrete whole house air freshener easily to my filter. My home has lingering cooking odors as well as an old dog odor. I have 2 dogs. This air freshener worked immediately to freshen all rooms in my home. I tried the floral bouquet fragrance. It seemed overpowering at first but became subdued after a few days. It's nice that I can control the amount of fragrance so at first so I only stripped off one row. I might strip off the other row if the fragrance goes away to refresh it again. Using the "continuous fan" setting on my thermostat I can control the amount delivered. My visitors commented on how fresh my home smelled but I thought it was a little "too strong" for about 3 days at first. I might even poke a few holes in the the products other strip if it loses it's scent to give it a longer life. I would love to try the other varieties in the future too. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This would be great to use anytime or if you are having guests, or if you want to sell your home to make it smell fresh and welcoming.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these for years and like the soft floral scent. It smelled great but it does not simply last. We have allergies and use high grade furnace A/C filters which may limit the long lasting release of the scent. I recommend but they have to be replaced more frequently than the filter.
Great smell but I think to help the WHOLE Apt smell good it needs to be stronger. Just realized I'm only using half so will use whole and see how it does, Need larger variety of scents.
I installed it as per directions and I can not smell this at all. The central air is running, so there is air flowing thru the filter. Sorry, this was a waste of money for me.
I can smell it when I hold it up to my nose, can't smell anything when it's on the unit. Complete waste of money!
