This unit was easy to assemble and we had great use of it. Had it for our Christmas crowd and they enjoyed the heat it put out and the elegant look about it, it match out patio décor. I highly recommend this unit for the value it was great. You will be getting a deal.
Only had this for a few weeks now and have used it a few times and it works great! We have it in our garage for when we have people over and it's a lifesaver!!
This heater looks great on our back patio. Easy setup, although the manual's pictures are dark to see their illustrations, it's easy to figure out what is being said to do. This units puts out a lot of heat as well.
I bought this to set beside our hot tub to keep us warm as we dry off and don our robes. It works well for this though you do have to be very close to the heater. For the price, it seems well made and will do what I wanted. If I had unlimited fuel and money, I'd get a huge commercial one, but that would be overkill.
This is my 3rd Fire Sense patio heater and I continue to like their products. On this particular model, the instructions were clear and easy to follow and the unit ignited the first time with no issues.
Great heater for the money, but we have to hold the pilot button in for 5 - 10 minutes to light the pilot after every small breeze blows it out (yes, we have a full tank, the valve is open all the way, and there are no leaks). The Manual says to peek into the pilot access hole to know when the pilot is lit, but the hole is 6-feet or more above the ground so you need a ladder or a step stool. The wheels stick out on the side where the controls are and you have to slide the unit around to change the LP tank since the tank slides in on the opposite side of the controls. It's possible that we assembled it backwards as the instructions are poor, and the ones on the green-sheet for the shelf were near worthless so we had to get help online. We do love having the shelf/table though. Walmart maintained their original delivery date although the carrier slipped the date twice.
The bronze finish looked great but we returned this item because there was no access door to control your propane bottle so every time you would need to have bottle filled or you want to shut off propane at the bottle you would have to lift the entire heater up...who wants to do that every time?
Poor design. The base housing component which encloses the propane tank does not have a door to facilitate installing/removing and/or turning on/off the propane tank. (I turn the tank off at the valve.) To do these functions, you have to lift the housing up and rest it on the braces while you do any of these functions. Cumbersome and unsatisfactory to say the least. And if you have the adjustable table you can't lift the housing up. I solved this shortcoming because I was able to adapt the housing, which has a door, from my old patio heater. Again, the design is poor and I would not recommend this product.
Igniter takes forever to ignite and you have to play with the gas to get it to turn on.. It came with dents and missing screws
Absolute piece of junk only thing it does do is heat. Bought two of these one was damaged so had to return it, other one went together except for one stripped spacer on the top. Replace unit went together fine then the first time i used it and moved it the wheels on the base blew out. Wal-Mart service has been great no issue there, but hassle to take it back and forth don't buy it.
