I had two 4 drawer Fire King cabinets in my business for 30 years. We used it as a safe to store gold and a file cabinet to store important documents. It weighed 600 lbs and seemed almost bulletproof. I bought the two drawer to store guns and important personal financial documents and our passports. Sam's has the best price and shipping was free for this 250 lb. well packaged unit.

After searching for fireproof file cabinets, Sam's had the best price and free delivery. Just make sure you have help to unload and move, it's heavy.
Arrived without damage, on small wood pallet. Very heavy, but we managed to get it into place. Trust it will meet our need for fire-resistant storage of family documents, wills, etc.
Bought three of these to date and just ordered a 4th. I like there solid structure and smooth surface. Some similar products have a grainy surface which I did not like compared to these. Hoping I can paint them to match office without messing up the fire integrity but will contact manufacture on that one. Bought them mostly for fire and water protection, a true professional criminal could make access past the locks but your average criminal making a quick break-in will not, it will take a lot. They are a little wider than a regular file cabinet but still have that nice streamline look. Got 4 stars for now I do not know their integrity during a fire but hope I never do.
I bought this for my Mom. It was slightly damaged on arrival but just a small dent on the back corner out of sight. It fit exactly into our spot. I would recommend opening before delivery truck leaves.
No matter how carefully pulled out, the bottom drawer falls off the track. It is somewhat difficult to put back on the track. While it is supposed to be fireproof, not being able to fully utilize the drawers is a hinderance.
