[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are not quite ready for full on lessons yet but I wanted them to have a little guitar to explore with. This has been great for that. It looks fantastic and has nice guards over the string ends. Like other guitars you will need a tuner and will need to tune it a few times until the strings settle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this First Act Plastic Acoustic Sunburst Guitar for my 6 year old Daughter. My husband has always played guitar and she is obsessed with them. It was great to be able to give her a guitar of her own that she could play with. It's a great way to start her on guitar.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Act - FAD - Plastic Acoustic Guitar (Sunburst) For a plastic child-size guitar it's actually a quality instrument
My son is only 16 months and I bought this so he wouldn't break our real guitar. When I ordered it I assumed it was a cheap plastic toy. But to my surprise it is a true guitar. It is plastic but if my son would have been 5 I could use this to teach him his first cords. It has a great look and feel. I am very satisfied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I showed my 3 year old grandson the First Act-FAD - Plastic Acoustic Guitar box, he immediately ran to me yelling gimme. I opened the box and handed it to him, excited that he was so excited. Initially he just strummed it passively while enjoying his sippy cup milk. And then he put his cup to the side and began singing Old MacDonald to the top of his lungs and strumming the guitar so sweetly. Thanks to this guitar I was treated to an impromptu concert in my living room. I can't stop smiling every time I think about it and hope he will do it again. And, of course, as soon as I attempted to record him, he immediately stopped.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get it for your teen or even toddlers they will love it. Perfect size for my 4 year old and let me tell you the guitar is super sturdy as he loves to play rock star with it. I really like that it is a hard plastic and the strings are very sturdy. I would definitely recommend getting it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Review for FAD - Plastic Acoustic Guitar Perfect for my 6 year old girl, the guitar is not heavy, it fits very well, the sound it produces sounds in tune, includes short card learning system, I love the color, it comes very well packaged my daughter loves it, perfect for beginners
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys got this guitar for Christmas and their grandpa was excited to try and teach them some things. We ended up using a tuner on his phone to adjust the string pitches, but he said they're going to need retuning for a bit while they settle. It seems decently sturdy but my kids (2 & 4) are definitely a little young, but we wanted to introduce them early. I'd say it's a pretty good intro size for my 4 year old, he was able to play a G. It's a little pitchy as it adjusts but otherwise I'm glad we got it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure it can actually be pre-tuned, seems unlikely. I was worried to tune because I didn't want to tighten the strings too much and break them. Since the guitar is plastic it doesn't offer the sound and tone of a wooden guitar but for a kids first guitar this is an okay start. It does come with lessons to learn keys.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was super excited to receive this as a gift. The size of it was perfect for her, she is 6 years old. It sounds really nice and seems like it would be a great beginner guitar. My only complaint is that I wish it were strung a little better. The strings were not super secure, making it difficult to adjust.
