Agree with other reviewer that the alarm goes off unnecessarily throughout the night. Had for a year. Changed the battery twice recently with Energizer and Duracell brands but continues to go off. Replaced it today. Couldn't find the square shape so got the round. This is supposed to have to have a 10 year life but that wasn't the case.
HAd to replace this model twice due to false alarming. One went off every hour 4x in the middle of the night for no reason. Only reason I stayed with this model is the shape
