RIDICULOUSLY sensitive! Had to take it down and get a different one bc if I was using my electronic cigarette (the ones that put out next to no vapor) it would go off. If you want something that will put you on edge and get on your nerves several times a day, this is the item for you.
Horrible buy. Started false alarming at all hours within weeks. My last encounter was at 3 AM when it started honking and screaming "Evacuate...Evacuate. Smoke in the hallway. " It now monitors the trash can.
The sound of something loose could be heard from inside the alarm. A slight shake of the alarm produced several small pieces of broken plastic. I am disappointed that Walmart would ship an obviously defective product which had been previously returned. The packaging had been poorly taped closed.
