We bought this for my son when he was 2 and now he is almost 5 and still loves it. We bought him a bike, but still loves his (mortor cycle) trike. It has held up very well and we have had no problems. We also have a 2 year old daughter and she also loves it. I would recommened this to anyone well worth the money.
We bought this for our 4-year old daughter who picked it out. I thought it was "too boyish" but she loves it. I makes the engine sounds and rides great. She already has a bike but loves to ride this on the deck. We have even left it outside in the rain and so far the sounds still work. Our 7 year daughter who is 70 lbs also rides it (although she is too big for the weight limit). I would definitely recommend it to boys and girls.
My 2 year old son got this for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! We have had it for six months and he's still too short for the pedals but he rides it all over the house and outside by pushing it with his feet. There are lights and several different sounds it makes along with two volume levels to pick from. There is also an off switch for no noise. The trike seems very sturdy and my son gets lots of playtime out of his "cycle" as he calls it.
This little trike keeps my son busy for hours. He's pretty short for a three year old and I had my doubts about him being able to reach the pedals, but on the closest setting he can. He loves his trike! I'd highly reccommend it especially for kids who are still too short for the bicycles with the training wheels!
Fun, "big wheel"-style trike. Easy to assemble. Adjustable seat for shorter legs with room for growth. I am surprised by how much the front end wobbles from side to side, even though the bolt is fastened as tightly as possible. However, that doesn't seem to be too noticeable when it is being actively ridden and our 4 year old has not complained about it. We purchased this for riding in the house during the winter months. The sounds of the revving engine, ticking turn signals, and comments on the weather are fun. However, even in a noisy, kid-friendly home the radio music clips are a little loud. There is no volume control for the sound effects as there is on so many riding toys. Overall, a good product and thus far a hit at our house.
My two year old loves this trike, but I was disappointed that he was too small for it. It needs a volume control button. It is loud enough for outside play, but so far, our son has just been playing with it inside, and it is quite loud. One other minor complaint is that the frame could be stiffer, but our son is light enough that the flimsiness does not affect him. I just have to keep his older siblings off it. My little stinklebug loves to sit in the seat and press the buttons, and one day, I'm sure he will realize that it was designed to ride around. I am optimistic that he will enjoy the toy more and more as he continues to grow.
We purchased the bike for our youngest son's 3rd birthday. My 8-year old son and I put it together in about 20 minutes. The realistic motocycle sounds and the turn signals are a big hit. My older son made a comment that he wished he was young again to ride it. I guess I would be considered ancient! We've ridden it blocks and blocks already with the adjustable seat all the way up so I expect to get a few years out of it.
My 2 year old son is totally into motorcycles and wanted a bike so we got this tricycle for his birthday. The lights and sounds are so good that as far as he's concerned, it's just as good as a real motorcycle. He can reach the pedals, but isn't quite tall enough to actually pedal, even though he is very tall for his age. However, he has a great time pushing himself around on it! I also like the fact that there's plenty of room for him to grow into it since the seat is adjustable.
I purchased this product for my son December 2007 and throw it in the trash August 2008. My son now 5 years old absolutely loved this tricycle and he rode on it when ever it was nice outside pretending he was speed racer with my daughter. However the front wheel completely came apart. My daughter's Barbie tricycle was purchased the same time and nothing is wrong with her trike. I would not recommend this tricycle.
We bought this Trike for our son on his 3rd birthday. I never like to return any products. But this trike is one of the worst product. The quality of the product is totally plastic. There is no grip on the wheels and It was so wobbly.The trunk of the trike is not stable, the wheels slide around on the axle. Totally it is not stable and not a good product from Fisher. Better not to buy this product.
