My daughter just turned 2 less than a month ago and this was a christmas present. She absolutely loves this toy, it is very easy for her to work on her own and she carries it all over the place singing. Deffinately would reccomend this toy.
My 15 month old niece fell in love with this toy even before it was unwrapped for Christmas! She accidentally hit the wrapped package and when the music started playing she began dancing and laughing without even seeing the toy. I can't wait to see her reaction once she opens the gift.
While shopping in Wal Mart my two year old son wanted to look at this toy. After he started playing with it he would not lay it down. His favorite part is the mic that he can talk into. I thought it was a little pricey but worth it because of how much my son has played with it. Overall Great Product!
My son got this for his 2nd birthday. He plays with it quite a bit. It is a toy he gets out and plays with for a while and then goes back into the closet for a week or so. He loves to us it while he jumps on his mini-trampoline because the music has a really good beat for him to jump to. He will push a button and jump to a song...then push another one when it is over. He actually gets a really good work out from it. It is pretty cute! The microphone broke only days after we got it...so the "karaoke" aspects doesn't work anymore. But when it did work it was fun for him to be able to hear his voice amplified. The disappointing thing for me is that it actually only has a few songs/beats that they use and just make-up different lyrics for letters or colors or numbers. So the colors song is the same music as the numbers song...just different words. The Do-Re-Mi is a cute feature that is really fun to hear my son sing to. I think it is a really good thing for young kids to learn to train their voices to follow the scale. They have to do it while young because it is something that is hard to get back as adults if you have never practiced. The little radio is also cute because it wiggles and dances to the music too. I think it could be a lot better...but it is a really cute toy that my son enjoys. I really think it is a bit overpriced...I would say it is more like a 15.00-18.00 toy. But everything seems over priced these days.
My 18 month old likes this toy. He can not fully use it to its potential because he is only 18 months old, but he is very interested in it and seems to be pretty good to me,
This procuct looked really cute and fun when i purchased it for my 2 year old. He liked it at first but it is not easy for him to use.there are too many buttons and levers, it's too complicated for a young toddler to use. He gave up on it and doesn't play with it anymore.
When I read the product features I believed my 4 years old Daughter would enjoy, because she loves making music, but unfortunately not was so. I think that this toy is good for a 2 years old child.
I purchased this product for my 3 yr old for Christmas on the recommendation of his speech Therapist. She thought that it would promote him using his voice more by hearing it thru the toy and talking into the microphone. It did not. The Cord on the microphone is way to short, it is like 6 inches long. The sound is somewhat muffled. The display lights have different shades of lights and are hard to read. The only thing my son likes about it is when it moves. I also felt that this was not worth the $31 plus dollars, I can think of about 3 or more different learning toys that that i seen that were priced cheaper than this one during christmas sales that i should have purchased instead.
My son received this as a gift for his 3 yr bday. He was just not intersted in it. When I tried to show him how to use it I discovere the microphone did not work. I am pretty sure if the microphone ahd worked he would have liked it. We had already thrown out the box, so we cant even exchange it for a diff one. Looking it up online, I think for what the toy offers it is a bit too pricey. For $30 there are other educational toys that I believe have much more play value.
For the price you pay not worth it. My 2 year could not figure it out. Played with it one time. Never went back.
